    That look fun. I must try it. The splashes can look very unusual.

    Another cracking video. I wonder how these would work with the introduction of your smoke machine?

    May I ask a question please?
    Actually I can't spend so many money but I would like to find something cheaper and similar to the Profoto D2. Can you help me? I'm not a professional photograph but I love to capture photo like you did. Can you suggest me a cheaper flash with something similar power? Thanks so much

      A cheaper way of doing this would be to use a flash gun or strobe light, but you will need to turn it down to get a short flash duration. You can compensate for this by increasing the ISO on your camera. Hope that helps.

      @@CameraClubLive Thanks Tony, i will do exactly in this way, compensating with ISO. I don't know specific cheaper (but valid) flash gun, but I know I will have to look for features like velocity of the flash and power

    How do you change flash duration?

    • @CameraClubLive
      @CameraClubLive  7 месяцев назад

      You can change the flash duration by changing the energy output of the device. Generally with strobe flashguns and relatively modern studio flash, the lower, the energy output, the shorter the flash duration. hope that helps. Thanks for watching.

    Hi, interesting to see how you did this as it's something I dabble in myself. This leads me to a question if you don't mind me asking, where do you get that diffusion material from? I purchased some from Amazon and it was a ridiculous price for what I received. I got a few splashes on it and it changes the shape of the surface so I guess it's an absorbent material (paper based I assume). You mentioned that yours was plastic which I imagine the water would simply run off leaving it unchanged. I would appreciate some information on that diffusion material if you wouldn't mind.

      Hello Tony, the diffusion material is 216 FULL WHITE DIFFUSION FILTER - BUDGET RANGE from Flashlight Ltd email: sales(at)flash-light.co.uk

      That video was three years ago and the price has gone up since, but this is still a good deal.
