I have decided to subscribe to this guy because he makes everything easy to understand. Math lessons should be taught this way and no BS trying to act smarter than your students. At the end of the day students will prefer teachers who simplified teaching and not someone who tried to be einstein on them only to fail the essence of teaching which is imparting what you learn to your students. Great job man!

After recently studying the derivative, it would seem the derivative for linear functions is simply the slope of the line (which makes sense). I realize that working through the derivative in pieces, will be helpful and necessary as you find the derivative of more complex functions. Good lesson. I really appreciate your use of relatively simple functions while I am getting comfortable with basic derivative rules. I have looked at some books where they immediately introduce trigonometric and logarithmic functions.
