I love your sense of humor! BTW, about the bidet…. I would never have a potty without one! It’s a great selling point for me! I LOVE this camper! It’s the nicest one I’ve seen so far!
Brad, were switching to the 960, with almost all the options. We WANT to buy from you and I do understand your want to get rid of old stock. I'll call you hopefully tomorrow. The 975 is nice, but I simply don't want a slide. Thanks for everything. Bill in Ga.
If you don’t like bugs, don’t go camping - 🤣. This guy is delivering a hilarious line every other sentence! Not much into camping but I’ll keep watching !!! US Bank owns my camper! 😂
So does that mean the propane tanks will be filled only and not exchanged like is customary with 20 lb tanks? I suppose they can be swapped out for regular exchangeable tanks? Like to see you go into more detail on the Truma system like how it works. Thx glad the 960's are coming in looking forward to mine!
Someone at the factory is having some fun with the clocks. I bought a 975 in Florida back in January ’22 and it is set to the exact same time as the one you just showed.
I haven’t heard anything further on the topic other then they were having issues (no specific issue mentioned). I don’t don’t if it’s supply issues, fitment issues, or issues with the tank it’s self. I’m one of the odd ones that is not a fan of it however after playing with a couple of them in the 960 models. I’ll stick with the standard 6g water heater as I’ve never had any issues of running out of hot water or anything in that nature. Easy to service, easy to use, easy to winterize, and has never failed on me. Just my personal experience
serious question...... are these type of units meant to be camped in and used only off the truck, on the truck, or both? and if on the truck, can you use the stabalizing jacks without taking it off the truck to level it and the truck out together? (obviously not while driving lol)
Yes, I really like the layout of the 975! I may try something different for my next one or just go with the 975 again. I’m not sure yet. But the layout and the amount of storage this model has along with the dry bath are all major selling points for me
That’s just 100 pounds dry under my max weight (3,300#). 2018 F-350 crew cab 8’ bed Single rear wheel with camper package. Nice camper but too heavy. Unless someone makes a load range F for Super Duty’s, I haven’t been able to find any.

@@itsbrad maybe next time you shoot a video of that particular feature, maybe you could show it actually extended fully out? Thank you for answering my question so quickly.
Materials Lance uses are higher quality therefore more expensive. More labor intensive, and more/expensive options that most travel trailers and fifth wheels don’t have, such as a $5k onboard generator.
@@itsbrad Yes that’s true. I do understand that is the intention of the vehicles, although they don’t often actually use real wood or even solid metal, or solid fiberglass, but particle board and all sorts of components like carpet that off gas carcinogenic compounds for the lifetime of the vehicle (VOCs or volatile organic compounds). So that isn’t about the consumer who has to live with the consequences, that’s saving production costs at the expense of the consumers health. Let’s be honest they are beautiful when you buy them but the guts of even the most expensive RVs are cheap as possible. Not Lance specifically but RVs in general suffer quality control hiccups and use plastic and synthetic materials which have been proven to emit gas when in the heat or cold, and that’s the cost of weight savings and mass production. And unfortunately if you have traveled around the country they inevitably end up becoming lower income housing more often than not because people can’t afford houses or get loans any longer for sticks and bricks no matter what their income, and especially on social security people cannot afford apartments and mortgages with a fixed income. So 250,000 plus for a house vs 20,000-$60,000 for an RV or trailer IS the primary motivation for “van life”. It isn’t recreational anymore. Millions of people need a roof over their head and “recreational vehicles” just means the company doesn’t have to meet housing codes or use long lasting materials that don’t off gas. I have seen many cases of fifth wheels and all manner of well kept trailers literally melt to putty after a single leak because they are just glued together particle board and plywood with thin aluminum or fiberglass shells. I know they look good and have great design and engineering, but a million dollar trailer or a 25 thousand dollar trailer ALL have terrible quality control which they legally get away with by calling it “recreational”. The company will literally tell you “you aren’t supposed to live in them” when they fall apart on your first trip. But in real life people live in these year round because they have to and those companies know that because they deal with those customers every day. The only people that benefit from the “recreational” label is the company that makes a box for what a house used to cost out of a particle board and plywood shell. I’m not even pessimistic, I love your tours and I love RVs or I wouldn’t even be interested, but I don’t think anyone would argue that any of these companies are “well made” of “quality materials” or even “a good deal” when compared to home made custom van builds or tiny houses. Nor would anyone who has traveled disagree that unfortunately a lot of people rely on these for their only form of housing, and the “van life” trend is evidence of that reality of the current economic situation. From young couples to old people on social security people are being forced out onto the streets or they buy a van or RV. Calling them recreational is just a marketing strategy at this point, because millions of real people need them to live now full time. And unfortunately the costs of ownership for new models and two to three years waiting lists for a Scamp or Casita reflect that reality across the board. It’s not pleasant but it is unfortunately the world we are living in with this economy.
And you can thank the chairman joe biden for that! I know he spends plenty of time mumbling and bumbling about Russia and Vladimir Putin but him and his criminal leftist cohorts are the ones to blame on the economy. They're so out of touch they believe if you can't afford to put gas in your car to go to work and put food on the table then you need to go out and get yourself indebted to the tune of $50-$60k for an electric vehicle, another depreciating asset. This man here is selling a luxury item and he even states that. But you're here ripping on him while he is trying to make his bread, don't blame him and sit here leaving some long diatribe about the product he is featuring.. like it or not, buy it or don't, save your speech for the peanut gallery. I just find that disrespectful going and stompin' all over somebody's business because your panties are in a twist over something beyond his control. Please save it. @@ghost-user559

I really like the sofa over the dinette option as it provides more floor space. Nice idea for a snug camper.
That 960 is a really nice unit. Great job as always Brad! Camp often!
Thanks Brad! Im stoked for the lance 960 after shopping around online. Great tour and funny 😄 "natural light, hold the beer"

It wouldn’t surprise me lol 😂
This is really nice but for 60k+ I can get a regular travel trailer with a heck of a lot more room....these prices are ridiculous.
As a van user I always thought the truck campers were a good option. Not sure why so many RV parks discourage them. Nice review.
Super Nice! Well laid-out for the amount of space to work with. Love the style of cabinets above, & all the amenities!
Does that cool Tacoma come with it? 😊
That key rack looks very complicated. Do I need a special license to operate it?
It wouldn’t hurt lol
Any word from Lance about adding the Truma Combi to more campers, especially the 975?

You can use while on or off the truck, and yes you can use the jacks to stabilize
Great walk-through. You do a detailed job! If you get time, could you do some of the Ranger aluminum boats? I'm looking for one soon
I’ve got about 6 RT198p in stock right now, I’ll try to get a video on one of them soon 😁
Great vid, too bad there are no such a things here in Europe. Greetings from Poland :)
We have had a couple from New Zealand come purchase and ship back over
Used to be....I gotta get me a Ranger Bass Boat and an Itasca Motorhome!
If both tanks have a gauge does it still have the auto transfer switch ?
As far as I know, yes
If you do sell yours, would you get the same model again?
Yes, I really like the layout of the 975! I may try something different for my next one or just go with the 975 again. I’m not sure yet. But the layout and the amount of storage this model has along with the dry bath are all major selling points for me
Does that seating fold out into a bed, Brad?
I have the same question, does the theater seating recline?
It does not, it’s pretty much just a “fixed” couch with kick outs for your feet
Nice unit, trucks are still as hard to find as Lance truck campers, but slowly improving.
How long is the couch?
That’s just 100 pounds dry under my max weight (3,300#). 2018 F-350 crew cab 8’ bed Single rear wheel with camper package. Nice camper but too heavy.

Lance 850, quite a bit lighter

I'm new and know nothing about Truck campers but I just shat myself when you said $60,000. WHY????
Because they are able to be lived in and all these companies are greedy as hell. Wouldn’t want anyone having a roof over their head would we?

They’re not meant for everyone to be able to have one, they’re a recreational vehicle.. a luxury item.
