- Willie Nelson performs "I Never Cared For You" live at the Farm Aid concert in Tinley Park, Illinois on October 3rd, 1998. Farm Aid was started by Willie Nelson, Neil Young and John Mellencamp in 1985 to keep family farmers on the land and has worked since then to make sure everyone has access to good food from family farmers. Dave Matthews joined Farm Aid's board of directors in 2001.

It takes a genius to say the simple obvious thing...At "Live Aid" Bob Dylan says: "Wouldn't it be great if we did something for our own farmers right here in America..." but it takes a real hero to make that obvious thing actually happen. Thank you Willie and all the other heroes behind this.

this was one of his worse performances, must have been a bad day. He's a great guitarist
