The main unit with screen will be connected to the main ECU that comes with it which can be located anywhere else like trunk or under a seat. Hope this answer your questions.

If I put yellow and red wires to my constant positive everything powers up and works great just doesn't shut off with the key when I try to wire to remote like my amp so it shuts off with the key I get no power any ideas?
Canna_bro_grow 2: The yellow constant. The red ignition. If you put both it will stay on until you turn it off yourself. You need to connect the red to ignition line that will go alive only when the key is turned on. Usually will be red as well in the original stereo harness or you can test a line with a voltmeter to see which one.
@@robertb9881 i tried that, didnt work. But if i piggyback red off my amps remote...it works...but even if i bypass the plugs up front.... won't work! Lol makes no sense
Canna_bro_grow 2 tell you what. Get a line from the battery. Make the yellow constant and red ignition manually like you make the contact then flip it back red constant and yellow ignition and see.

All units must be connected for this thing to work. The display will not turn on without the main unit.
