Each to his own - my husband and I have this 15TB and we absolutely LOVE it! It sounds like you want to rough it more than we do (we love camping at state parks), but you also want some of the conveniences of an indoor space you can stand up in. We love the hominess/coziness of this camper, it's easy to maneuver into small places, easy to tow, and while we like being outside most of the time, we love having a space to come into on rainy days, and when we are inside, we love the windows. We DO use the stove, the fridge, the microwave and occasionally, the TV. We've never regretted our decision to go with this camper and we are SO happy we found it - for us, it's perfect! Like you said, the quality is great - and it has good head room for my 6' husband. It has an open, spacious feel for being such a tiny camper. Sorry it wasn't for you - and hope you find the one that's exactly what you are looking for next time!

Sound like you know what you DON’T want any more and that you have a better understanding of your true needs. Hopefully, you sold this camper and are onto your next one, that fits your needs much better. Thanks for sharing because your video has helped me decide on what pros/cons I need and am willing to take!! Thank you!! 🫶🏻

Due to my age, I moved up to the 15TB from a modified M101 overlanding trailer with rear slide out kitchen and remote solar. I had a 270 degree awning on my TJ Wrangler with sidewalls for a living space and slept on an XL cot/tent. I am more restricted now but have removed the microwave and put in 412 ah of lithium an added a 400w remote solar panel to chase the sun. Loved my M101 but at my age (73), I love the 15TB and still do a lot of remote boondocking. Camp on.

Thanks for your insights. We have considered this size also and love the features but your thoughts and comments have helped us with a bit more perspective. All the best in finding your next camper, we’re looking forward to seeing what you decide on.

We have a Flagstaff SE pop up that seems to check your boxes. High road clearance,Standing room inside, easy tow, two very comfy beds after you add memory foam toppers, not pricey. Wife likes it because it’s like a screened in porch with windows zipped down. Check it out if you haven’t yet.😊

Thanks for sharing these videos on the 15TB. Looking for a similar solution as yourself. Off road capable with ability to stand, and thought this may be an option, but it seems the height may make it challenging. Not that you wouldn’t be able to take it off road, it’s a balancing act of things you’re willing to sacrifice for ease of towing, especially when you’re planning on doing mainly backcountry camping.

This would be good for me. Because of mobility issues I prefer campgrounds but want a smaller camper with a bathroom.

Love your honesty and it was obvious you dint like it lol best of luck in your adventures I have been looking at these as while I love the T@G 320 it's $55000 here and these are$35000, and you can stand in it...sounds like you want an A frame camper.

We’re selling our 2516s Rockwood mini lite for a smaller trailer like a GEO pro . . Me and hubby used it for a year. And we realized we don’t need that big of a trailer for the camping we do . I like smaller trailer’s.

Smaller is much better for us as well. I just did not like hauling around the big camper.

Have you looked at the Casita? Many different configurations. Lift kit available. Very durable. Customizable. Built out of Rice Tx.

Look at the Trail-Marker or the Lance Enduro. From what I've seen, very capable options with room to stand. However, may still be too tall for your liking.

Get a smaller r-pod. Comes stock with Azdel, Wrangler tires and they’re tear droppy.

Haha, too homie for you. 😉
So for remote areas, it's too big. I get it.
I was just about to decide its the one for me! I wish you guys the very best luck!
I look fwd to your next creative mods on the new camper!
    Cheers, Eric
P.S. I see you standing under the AC unit. How tall are you???

Late to the party but the TeatonX is a good candidate for others looking for offroad, but ability to stand....but pricy.

TetonX looked great, but the lead time is forever and a day. We love our Mission Overland Summit and we were able to pick it up the day we saw it.

@ProjectBasecamp Yeah they are sweet. The mission would max me out on towing in a Wrangler Rubicon... so I'm still on the hunt
