The wheels have done a great job and that steering link definitely got to have a go at doing that I think the only thing that hindered you mate because the damp weather causes your tyres to fill up with too much mud and make far to slippy it but fantastic run. Like me mates we need it nice and dry👍👊😊😎🇬🇧
I love these wheels and tyres. The originals are ok but are a bit thin.! These seem to suit the kanyon way better and fill the huge arches a bit more and will provide more contact and grip. Just ordered some for my kanyon. £26.00 for a set of four (Ebay.)! My kanyon is yet to see the light of day but i will get round to uploading a video of it at some point. I'm amazed to see so many Kanyon video's where the owners have not altered the original suspension set up.!! They don't know what they are missing.! Great vid. Cheers fella.
thanks bud, yes these tyres are good but can be a bit of a hindering on loose ground as they act like shovels and just dig in 🤣 but overall I do find them great and I still have to option to put the stock wheeks back on if needed for different terrains 😀 i agree suspension mod makes a big difference, but again it depends on the terrain thats why I've drilled a line of holes for adjustment. hooe you like the new wheels bud, cheers 😀👍
hi bud, they aren't far off the original angle just higher. I have a series of holes along the rail so I can move them if needed . I will show them in a video soon as z few have asked. cheers bud 😀👍🐿
hi dave, the Jerry cans are mint tubs, can't remember exactly what ones. yes the bridge plate, I know they don't use them anymore but I had one on my series 2 ffr landrover and just like the look of them. the untrained eye would never notice 😉 cheers bud 👍
Looking good mate think I'm going to have to get some of them for mine. What wheel did you say they are. Really like your vids mate keep it up. You got some good ground there too.
Another great mod like the wheels but looking I can find a set from the 1/10 scale look just like yours and measure 120x65 fraction smaller than stock or a 1/8 set difernt tread patern to yours come in around 170mm x 100 can you conferm the size or a link plz also very tempted to pick up the body even thought it's 1 week old lol 😆
thanks bud, pick up makes a massive difference to be fair but I don't think I would want to chop a week old one 😀 here's a link for the wheels www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07Y5BP5TC/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_fabc_QJ84NPQ2YX0K96Z8FXNJ cheers 👍
@@009ADVENTURES ye I took the body off for a test and could climb alot steeper hill body back on just flips so think I'll add some weight for now and wait befor chopping up the new shell :)
yes that's what I used to do was add about 120g to the front and it made a difference. my shell is absolutely trashed and held together with duct tape n hot glue so didn't really mind chopping it
One of the nicest looking Kanyon I've seen
thanks :) looks a lot more beat up now though , painted outside so it would get the silver scratches for effect 😃👍

I'll need to try that setting on my own steering links,it may allow me to run my other 2.2"'s on it.
yes mate maybe worth a try, it slightly knocks them out of line but not noticeable on a crawler 😀👍🐿
The only thing I don't like is that it gives positive camber to the outside wheel when turning.
yes it does a bit, they do clear in the standard position with these wheels so I can live with it it it saves hitting my tyres 😀👍
Great video as usual Marc liking the new treads🏴🇬🇧👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻my man improvement,👍🏻👍🏻Dave in Cornwall
thanks bud, yes I'm loving yhem so far, the farmer has made me a new trail this week so can't wait to get there this afternoon 😀 👍🐿

Are the Jerry cans made from cut down lighters ?? Just wondering why you have the old fashion yellow Bridge plate on your modern Landy ?
