- Last Day at Whistler for the trip. I was joined by a few familiar faces and a few new ones. This ended up being and epic run with a ton of chaos. This video was filmed on the last day of Crankworx, and many trails were closed due to the on going Enduro race.

Sebastian from NRML MTBer seems like the exact kinda guy you want to spend a day riding with. At least for me. Love the positivity without the ego.
Phil it’s always mind boggling watching you ride! Thanks for giving us a chance to see what greatness is like!!
Fun video as always. Enjoy your winter Phil!
Awesome riding and video man! Thanks for sharing!
Awsome vid great to have you back!
It is soo weird that - never been out of europe - I know so many lines and gaps at Whistler.
The long gap on original sin on the long straight over that single rock at the end. Or the gap out of the berm where Hailey (sorry if misspelled) filmed you in the last video. I knew it a few seconds before you hit it😅
Probably I would have a LOT of fun in Whistler or generally in BC area. But the trails her in the Austrian Alps are sick as well. Keep it up man, love your content❤❤❤
Awesome riding, as usual! Glad your were ok on that silly crash.
Phil doing a quick presidential wave to all the trees in the forest while in the air. 😅😁
Hell yeah, Blake. You’re killing it, dude. Super impressive.
Good stuff as always Phil.
Phil was cooking with bacon grease on a-line towards the end 🔥 💨
Phil bends his bars and then rides about as fast and everyone else can😂
Great video thanks for producing some great content yet again. 🤘
Awesome video and Merry Xmas
another banger of a video.. as always
I got clotheslined by a rope across a ski slope last ski season. I completely understand your choice to bail before the rope. Rope burn on your neck isn’t fun! Glad you’re alright.
Sick riding!
To answer Phil's question at 12:54 on the cost of riding your own bike on a major mountain like Whistler or Kicking Horse. It will cost a derailleur or rim every second or third trip. Specially if you take a bike that hasn't seen a big mountain before. You are going to find every part on your bike that is not at 100% and break it. For that matter, a bumbler like me will take $5 of life off my brake pads with every run.
This man always makes it look easy.
(Banzai dives vertical rock roll)
(Clotheslines himself, bends his bars)
(Proceeds to shred harder than I ever will)
It's -41c outside and I continue to watch Phil, i dream of riding..
its officially the time of year for me to get the itch for bikes... which means its time to get anxiety watching phil absolutely smash trails like no other. good shit dude
Extreme hang time and insane speed, AFTER bending bar... 🤯😱
Awesome Video!!!!
4:06 bro the kid looks good and like he has steez without even seeing him ride
Nice hubs!!
Top videos 🔥
Bro that looks sick bro wish I had a mtn bike to do this looks fun!
got that Involentary snoop droop handlebar action going xD
fast and fluid, my addiction to these vids is growing next to carpet cleaning and car camping.
That will be very useful to superimpose the speed you are hitting those jump!
Your the best 🎉
the fact he rode the rest of that run with bent bars is baffling
And also very dangerous
Late season braking bumps... look brutal D:
My God your speed down A-line I just insane!
Phil being subtly disagreeable with the West coasters is the best 😂
i noticed that too. lmao. im on the west coast and the "cool guy" vibe/ people not even listening to you when youre having a conversation with them runs rampant out here.
Would love to be able to ride whistler one day
All of BC is amazing, but Whistler is definitely one hell of an experience.
Phil did bend his bars lol didn't even effected him
In before GMBN video, how much does each whistler decent cost you!
Are you re uploading these or something? because I feel like I’ve seen these videos before or at least clips of them. Also do you have any tips for maintaining you bike after bike park trips to get them feeling more normal
I have not uploaded these. I included brief snippets in other videos to give context. I think i showed how i bent my bars in either the coast gravity park video, or the video riding with Jeff in Bellingham.
When was this filmed
Let's go
"He's really good"....Challenge accepted;)
when Phil was following him on the techy stuff at like 4:55 and 6:20 I think he earned that "really good" Phil is ungodly fast on that stuff
Blake is a certified ripper, and deserves his "super fast" title. @@kenanjones3481
@@SkillsWithPhil Don't disagree, 100x better than me, but his attitude was pretty serious/smug out there, and once he realized he was matched, it wasn't long till a crash followed.
@@benlittlechilds1192 lmao wasn’t smug was just awesome to ride with some sick dude, so I was mostly staying quiet for there videos. 😮 nrml was glazing me lmao wasn’t trying to be cocky. Crash was a honest mistake too wish it was filmed lol.
@@blakeandrews1163 yeah, that’s fair :)
Hi dude what sag do you use approximatel at the rear and front 🔥
I start off with the recommended 15/20% sag and then go up from there. GT usually gives you a sticker with the measurements in mm. Typically i find the recommended sag to always be a little too soft and will add a little more air. I mentioned this is a previous video but I had to go up 20psi in the rear from my normal setup when i was at Whistler.
Phil do you do racing………..yea Enduro and XC…….can’t speak no more have to play cool 😂
West coast eh? Lol
is whistler still open for biking or are these old clips
These are from crankworx back in July
Niceeeee
NRML MTB no way!
Takes a fall, bends his bars, and still rides better than I ever could. Definitely has those skills. Really wish there was a third party camera recording that massive jump though, would be nice to see exactly how much air he got.
Ironically there was no shortage of cameras but as far as i know nobody got it!
@@SkillsWithPhilI'd love to see your body positioning and flow when riding. The fact you're always chill no matter how fast you're going mesmerizes me. +1 for a third person footage please!
He went to the moon! 🌖 😅
@@eduardoletosa784 Check out his ride with other RUclipsrs. There's one with Remy where he disappeared in the distance. Well before the tire puncture 😆
does someone know what is the kids bike?
I swear I watch more time watching ads than videos nowadays on YT
Hey Phil, did you ever visit Thunder Mountain last year?
It's a bit of a haul from me these days, so I'll usually wait until later in the season when Fort hill and everything else is open. This year i didn't make it out because once i got back from whistler i spent all my time working on finishing a public trail that will be opening next year.
Well at least you had a good time at Whistler. Hope to see you at Thunder next season!
Did bro travel back in time? Its december and he posting this now
"Bro" was busy when he got back from Whistler spending virtually 6-7 days a week building a mountain bike trail (for free) that will be open to the public next year. Bro was tired AF and only now that the trail is done has free time to edit. ruclips.net/video/2lrwR5EeE-E/видео.htmlsi=LyF09rV7Q89iVrT5
Fair broski, having me here in a foot of snow, wishing I could be on my bike@@SkillsWithPhil
