thank you so much for watching 😊No not at all …when we let it cure and then keep them in water to cure for few days …the ph of concrete drops drastically apart from that succulents like a slight higher ph in soil approximately 5.5 to 6.5 so they so well in these pots 😊🪴
no food colouring will fade off ..there are some pigments created esp for cement and concrete you can use those while mixing the cement ..lemme check with a frnd what are those pigments

hey …i actually completely missed out on perlite lol… so perlite acts as an aggregate in hypertufa…..now there are three choices…perlite ,sand and vermiculite…. perlite as most of us use it for succulents…so it’s readily available …. vermiculite can also be used but a lot of us don’t have it or don’t use it as it’s doesn’t go well with succulents. then comes sand now sand will be the best aggregate…but the whole idea of making hypertufa …is to have a pot that looks like concrete but feels very light …sand will make the final product very heavy and it’s as good as making a regular concrete pot… even though cocopeat works as an aggregate but it won’t be that strong …by adding perlite or vermiculite or sand it will make the pot super strong 😊🪴

How about if i want to have some color instead of just cement? Can i use food colouring?
