Im SO glad somebody finally mentioned the weird cinematography especially in the opening village bit where it almost looked like Zak was using a weird fish eye lens that made everything look garbage I later saw an article details how he actually did in fact make a special lens and I really thought after Army of the dead he had learnt his lesson apparently not,
Yeah, it’s a really weird choice. Why go through all the trouble of making your own sci-fi universe that you spend months hyping up and then don’t let us see any of it?
Don’t know what to tell ya. I’ve never heard anyone mention it to me until this moment. Not saying what you’re saying isn’t true, I’ve just never been exposed to it

Damn, was rooting for this to work out. Oh well
Yeah, was hoping this would surprise me. Unfortunately, it did not.
How many dramatic slow motion jump and screams can one movie have? Is this a record?
Snyder’s other movie, 300, would probably hold the record if I had to guess.
@@MichaeltheComicNerd you know…I think your right. But still Snyder. Like Micheal Bay with exploding things.
I'm surprised no one is referring this to "Battle Beyond the Stars" on a bigger budget but where's the charm?
Well, probably because it's not nearly as well known if I had to fathom a guess. I didn't even know that existed until you told me.
BBTS is the fourth most common reference, I think, after SS, TMS and A Bug's Life.

"Roger Corman was able to make it better in a cave, with a box of scraps!" - Snyder
