    I'm not sure what you mean when you said you may put a canopy on it later because it's already got a canopy. Please explain thankyou.

    Hi mate.
    Thanks for the in detailed video of your build.
    Just to confirm I understand correctly, you had both of the catch can and the fuel filter installed by the dealer before pick up?
    Did you say that was the provent catch can?
    What secondary fuel filter kit did you get?

    • @SargeNurseOffRoading
      @SargeNurseOffRoading  2 года назад

      Yes mate the dealer did it as a favour for me.
      The secondary fuel filter was from western filters.

    The normal headlights are the worst I have ever experienced. Even high beam is abysmal. Put a MITS canopy on mine and love it! Biggest mistake I mad was getting new black alloys from dealer without thinking about rim size as would hav preferred 17" to the 18"rims - bugger.

    • @SargeNurseOffRoading
      @SargeNurseOffRoading  2 года назад

      Yes mate thinking the same on rim size and maybe a Trojan or MITs canopy in the future build just need to workout where Alba will go

    Hey mate, did you also upgrade the upper control arms when you did the lift? Mines going in for a lift next week and unsure if I'll need them running a 31" tyre on a 2" lift. Keen to hear your thoughts - cheers!

    • @SargeNurseOffRoading
      @SargeNurseOffRoading  2 года назад +1

      No mate as it didn’t require it in a 2inch lift so you should be right is it the Ironman suspension?

      @@SargeNurseOffRoading perfect - yes through Ironman, I'm going with the foamcell. Ironman said it's not needed but I've been reading about alignment issues with the BT/D-Max after a lift, so wasn't sure if it was needed. Great vid Sarge. Have you thought about under bonnet gas struts so you dont have to worry about that silly support bar Mazda/Isuzu fits. Also what about an Xbar comes with built in recovery points for rear of Project Invictus. We have a 2017 Bt50 with an Arb summit bullbar. Like you I wish they incorporated front recovery points into the design. How do you find the tpms you have fitted? Once again great vid looking forward to the next one.

    • @SargeNurseOffRoading
      @SargeNurseOffRoading  2 года назад

      Thanks for watching Craig, I have looked at the X Bar so that PIAX and the Hammer rear bars are in contention. TPMS is great just need to remember to adjust alarm settings in the tolerance, buts its a peace of mind to have.

    Where did you get your dust seal put in, or was it included? Also is that for the car or for the canopy?

    • @SargeNurseOffRoading

      Hi mate I got it as a factory accessory when I purchased. It’s the same as the egr one. It does both bu a little dust gets in there but not as much without one

    I own a bt50 2021 gt and it cost me $60,000 k+ and to spend another 40k is just not for me I shouldn't have sold my old landcruser ute and spent the money on modifying it. Lessons learnt IMO
