What a lovely video, thank you! My current plan is for us to move to Hoi An in a year and your video confirmed that this is indeed a beautiful and peaceful place.
Amazing video. Colorful Hoi An. That boat ride is so funny. I have been to Vietnam two times, but not done it yet. The next time I go to Vietnam, I am sure I can't skip Hoi An. I also uploaded some videos about my travel to Hanoi and Sapa last year on this channel.
I was born in Manila and living in the US for almost 50 yrs. And haven’t been back so i’m really itching to go! Thank you for asking. Love your videos!
Wow. The boats were amazing. The tea shop that was only employing hearing impaired workers great. OMG. Bahn Mi in the US costs around $8 to $15 depending on where you buy them. Getting it for $1.50 is stunning. As always great vlog guys. Beautiful place. Thanks for bringing us along.
Here in California Too Everything is So Expensive, IF I Go To McDonald’s Now The Combo Is 11.99$ Before Covid it’s Only 6.99&, And If You Going Out To Eat 100$ is Nothing … Foods Went up Doubles…. 100$ Dollars in Southeast Asian Country Goes A Long Way, if You’re Not a picky eaters….. ✌️✌️🙌
An amazing place. MUST be visited. My family love the Hoi An!!!! The word to describe Bahn Mi is baguette not bun. Maybe you are speaking north east England terminology Andrew.
Lol. Thanks Carl.Well spotted. I realized my error when I rewatched the footage before editing. By that point it was too late to correct it as I had already left Vietnam. ;-)
You were in Hoi An during the Vesak festival ( The Buddha's birthday festival ) . The 7 lotus flowers on the Hoai river symbolize the 7 first steps of Buddha when he was born over 2500 years ago . Is your bf from Thailand ? If he is , he should know about Vesak festival because Thailand is also a Buddhist country . There are actually more Buddhist followers in Thailand than in Vietnam .
Though the landscape is beautiful, the mentality of the people makes it a third world slum. Indiscriminate littering, scamming and stealing make Vietnam a slum country for generations to come. Sad.

What time did you go to Hoi An? Trying to avoid the crowds as much as I can 😆
We went in May this year.
@@AlwaysonaJourney Oh I meant what time in the day 😅
Early afternoon and in the evening. It's less crowded early in.the afternoon.
How long is the boat ride??
It lasts about thirty minutes.
Steering those coconut boat is hard technically and physically.
It looks exhausting
you very fun
สนุกมาก
Banh mi for $1.50? Its $6.99 + state side (skinny sandwich only) pathetic! Can’t wait to retire! Very festive video! I love it, wish i was there!
I know. I love how much further your money stretches in South East Asia. ;-)

It looks fun but I think I can’t handle it cause I will be dizzy for sure . I love fast roller coasters but I do not like spinning …
You could still go on, but just tell the rower , no spinning.
