As a psychiatric nurse practitioner, I appreciate how transparent you all are about bringing awareness to the mental health stigma in the black community. It is not talked about enough! It's great that you're using this platform to encourage people to seek therapy. It really can be life changing. A lot of family members in the black community do shame those who suffer from mental illness. This is why the suicide rate is increasing in our community, especially among black men. Kudos to all of you for being so open and sharing your journey with therapy! Love you guys!

I have missed you all so much! This show is a breath of fresh air, and shows have to communicate with family members as a whole effectively. I can't wait for the new episodes and just learning more and gaining more nuggets of wisdom. I wish this episode were longer, but I am blessed knowing you all have opened your doors to show the world how real you all are.

I started seeing a Therapist 3 weeks ago and this journey has been mind blowing in a positive way. Yes, therapy is okay!!!
Please Please Do A Show On Therapy & Mental Health. I was abandoned by my spouse and some days to be honest I feel as if God forgot about me!! But I know it’s more to see. On a greater note I’m so Happy Y’all Back, it’s a Blessing

I had to start seeing a Therapist. It was the best thing I could have done for myself. We as black people are still living in the past of what happens in our house stays in our house and we don't tell our family business. Therapy is normal.

Lol I like to eat with people on RUclips as well. It's totally a thing. 😁I was eating Spaghetti, corn, potato salad, and rolls. Of course now they made me want a baked potato. 🙄
🎉🎉🎉 Welcome back, I missed y'all... Happy to see the family doing well, even with the "bad" situations. I love that you guys are advocating for black people to seek therapy; we need to get away from the mindset of "what happens in our house, stays in our house". I've been in therapy for 10 years now, and credit this learning process to helping me try to end the cycle of mental/emotional/physical abuse. I believe in leading by example, and hopefully, my kids are not permanently scared by the things they've seen me go through. 🙏🙏🙏 Blessings to you all, and I can't wait for the next episode ❤️

Ummmm... I just found "Mann Family Dinner" trying to find something to watch on RUclips to keep me awake. I work nights as a security officer. I watched this episode and went all the way back to Episode 1, because I enjoyed it and laughed so much. I won't say which one, but I was watching and got so into it, and the conversation was so real and matter-of-fact like that I guess I felt like I was there. As God is my witness, I almost inserted an opinion like I was at the table. LOL! I love the show. Please keep this going. Love the family interaction. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I am glad you all are talking about mental health so openly. I am currently writing a book detailing my mental health journey from early childhood through college and Porcia you have inspired me to keep going and talk about it boldly.

I went to a therapy session and let me just say I didn’t make it home before I received a call to let me know my next scheduled session was canceled. It’s good to know you found a good therapist to help you through that valley we sometimes endure.
I knew it was over when I saw Ace on dating sites last April and May. I am glad Porcia seems at peace with it.

Hello family, just want to say I'm glad you all are back. I don't comment much I just enjoy the show. But I do want to say that just like Porcia I've been writing about 2 years of so, seriously. I took a book writing class which I really enjoyed but I've been procrastinating as well and had a few set backs. So I commend youd for not giving up and thank you for the inspiration.
