All hail IMSA!
spring...and a young man's thoughts turn to Sebring
Ahh, very poetic... and yes they do!
You always post the best videos. Thank you!
Thanks for watching!
Awesome variety of really great sounds.
Yeah the series is looking really good this year.
Another great Lanky Turtle production. You always manage to capture the cars at positions on the track where one can hear exhaust notes in a variety of modes; flat out, hard acceleration, drifting through a corner, and hard deceleration/braking/downshifting. Like being there, . . . , almost. still can't quit get the chest thumping from NA V-8s. Great job!
Thanks! That's the beauty of a roadcourse, all the different types of corner entries, exits and straights. I always try to use an external mic to capture that bass more than the internal camera mic would, but still nothing beats being there.
How can five people "dislike" this video? you must not be a Motorsports fan.... I don't get it. Awesome stuff Lanky, is playing on a loop today at my job :D
I'll say it again, your video clarity is stunning.
Pure God-like sounds Lanky, I love it ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
OMG that cadillac v8 epic sound....
This is simply BRILLIANT video! AND audio. :-)
As always nice vid LT, thx a lot mate ! ;)
Can't wait Sebring12H, Da big one!
Great video! Thank you for sharing Lanky. See you at the race.
3 Weeks!!!!! Thanks for the teaser!!!!
Thanks for checking it out!
Thank you once again! YOU ROCK SIR.
THANK YOU SIR!
Thanks for another great video and in 4K. Looks amazing on my 4K monitor
Good I'm glad it's working now. The best quality it's showing for me is 1080p60 which is about the best my monitor will show anyway. From what I've been reading sometimes it takes several days for the videos to show up at their highest quality so hopefully it'll go up to 1440 or 2160, which is what I uploaded it as.
I'm watching it at 2160p60
Brilliant stuff Lanky, Beauty Mate.
Amazing sounds at Sebring. Thnx for the video. I know this will an epic race.
Thanks Lanky....BEST footage i've EVER seen, and i've been racing for 45 years...you are a true fan, and it shows ! I must have been standing next to you , 'cause you were everywhere i was...and thanks to you we can relive it all. What can we do to get you behind the camera for the race broadcast ?
Thank you sir that is very high praise!
imsa radio does a good job in picking up all the track noise
Who knew they made so much noise - UK coverage of this raving mutes the crap out of the sound, such a shame. Nice vid - thanks
Yeah it's amazing how quiet the track seems on TV broadcasts. Nothing beats actually being there.
Cadillac is back !
3:28 I love the Corvettes so much. But when that GT fires up and you here the turbos spooling up... damn
So cool, im gona make it a goal to attend one day!
Great video. Thank you.
You have great shots and framing and whatnot.
Thanks! I've been working on it and so forth.
Dude, IMSA is stacked! I haven't watched in a while but damn, screw WEC.
great audio and video!
Excellent, thanks for the video!
Thanks for checking it out!
Raced Sebring 12hr in the '70s, so I appreciate going back via RUclips.
Oh you're THE George Dyer! I've only been going since 2003 but I've always been very interested in the history of the race. I've watched the video of the 1977 race that Buzz Fyhrie has up on youtube and I congratulate you on your win! That must have been quite an experience! I'm sure things were a lot different there in the 70's but it's still a great race to see.
George, always loved the blue and yellow paint scheme on your cars..one of my favorites...have many photos of it. Congratulations on the Sebring win.
Thanks Dave. You have photos... Any you would like to share?
Are those rotary Mazdas? Also, this is the first video I've seen from you and I'm already subscribing, the coverage, sound and video quality is amazing! Keep up the good work sir
no its a 2l Inline 4
3:08 That red highlighted area above the GT seems new.
Is this a new camera?
Brilliant video as usual, Lanky!
Yeah it's a Sony that records in 4K which I used for the paddock shots and regular HD for the track shots.
@1:15 "that car is dangerous" I wonder what car they're talking about? Thanks Lanky, great sights and sounds.
Thanks! I'm not sure who was saying that but maybe they will see this video and enlighten us haha.
what kind of video cam are you using for this? The quality is excellent.
Fantastic Stuff! Thank you very much! Seeing Land Motorsport at Sebring is so cool, but makes me wonder... with all those bumps... is Land Motorsport using their Nordschleife Setup? ;-)
Hello /r/wec and /r/uscr Folks! See you in March on Snoonet!
As always great video. Really would have rather drove the two hours this morning to Sebring instead of the 15 mins to Lake Mary.
Yeah I'd like to have gone back today.
How much does it cost to go on testing day?
I take it rebellion isn't running the rest of the season in imsa?
They're running all 4 Patron endurance cup races
Was Montoya testing??
from 4:05 to 5:05, every time a Porsche comes through there's a new tire mark. XD
What turn is 4:45 at?
SO bitchin'! Thank you!
Bring prototypes back to Lime Rock!!
was there an issue uploading this, max 360p.
HD here Kevin.
+Kevin's Cars Man I hope not, it took over 12 hours to upload. The way RUclips uploads videos is there's basically a separate video for each definition quality and it starts with the lowest one and works it's way up so sometimes it'll be a few hours or more before the HD versions show up so check again later tonight. Parts of this were in 4K so it should have uploaded at least as 1080p/60.
+Lanky Turtle when you upload are your videos in 1080 @ 60 fps? I found I had to make a manual setting using movie maker.
I saved this in 2160 at 60fps at the highest setting but some of the video was recorded in just 1080 so I don't know how that affects the upload to youtube. I've always used Movie Maker but I didn't know there was a way to export in 2160. I used Wondershare Filmora to edit this video which was a new experience for me. I'm going to have to read up on all this. I'm actually not very tech savvy.
R u at Sebring right now
cant wait for the ford gt to own house
ղícҽ!!
Cuz I am
