I feel like I should add that with the regional now behind me, I'm really looking forward to focusing on the channel and growing as a creator over the next few months. I have a bunch of stuff planned and I'm happy to say IM BACK
Met this guy at Regionals over the weekend. He's a kind and very helpful person! Thank you for being a welcoming person to the community! Hopefully next time we can get a stream stage 👌
Do what you need to do brother, I will be here regardless of what you decide. You’re a great player, and we are happy you are apart of the pokemon community.
Great to hear another bigger member of the vgc community talking about their personal struggles with the game and outside. Thanks for sharing mate, it takes courage but it sets a great example of how to deal with things in a healthy manner.
You know what sucked about Perth? It’s basically exclusive to Australians. Even though New Zealand is part of the Oceania region, we don’t get any regionals, so we are required to travel to Australia to realistically compete. Perth is very expensive to travel to relative to other areas of Australia, meaning New Zealand players effectively have a handicap in terms of points. It feels unfair. Having a regional in New Zealand would effectively counterbalance that handicap.
I wish we went back to the 1IC, 2 Regionals and a NZ special event, I think that would be ideal, but in the current system, you really need to travel to every event
If we at the 0-2 Drop podcast can help with casting and streaming in any way, we’d love to assist. Something we are super keen to see happen for Oceania events
I'm looking forward to completing in the GC since I didn't really play any events on the format, but content wise I covered it for like 4 months, so I really need to change up what I do
Brother the burn out has been real and I believe for many. For me Reg H initially was a breath of fresh air, but then reg h just became a casino. Constant RNG and you never know when you'll win because someone may get lucky
Dude I feel you with the expectation to do better. I know I can do way better than my current placing but I continually choose subpar mons for events. Partially due to the challenge and also sometimes it’s good because it’s something your opponents aren’t anticipating. There’s some solace in saying I was the highest blaze Tauros player though 😂 I think Brisbane I’ll be choosing a strictly meta team. Once again, pleasure chatting to you in Perth good sir!
Thank you for all the great content. I’d personally love an education video on EVs and EV bumps but do whatever feels right. The content is great and I’m sure wherever you decide to go with it will still be great.
To answer your question on growth you are right that editing videos would be good, but you also need to develop your own market niche. I can tell you that I personally found your channel after Neil got cancelled. I was looking for a replacement channel that could do meta analysis. I think that could be a good thing for you to do. Maybe after regionals you could break down the battle footage? Idk just throwing an idea out there
Ive been super burned out on vgc myself. I've been enjoying playing pocket a lot more. Vgc is just a very frustrating experience sometimes. Having to keep up with the meta, setting up ev spreads, deciding on tera types, dealing with your opponents and all the surprise stuff they have etc etc. I honestly dont get how people like Joeux9 do it. I hope you find a good balance.
I feel you when it comes to work I had to stop playing Pokemon Scarlet Violet for 3 weeks straight my boyfriend was shocked that I didn't even touch it it's cuz I had to work 6 days straight one day off for peak right now I have two weeks regular days which is 4 days a week 10 hour shifts but it's going to be back to 3 weeks 6 days straight so I have literally no time to go to locals I have to rely on the grand challenge.. so I get it

It gives a good perspective as to what actually goes into this stuff

@ I only started competing this year and playing casually last year. I had no idea New Zealand ever had special events.
@jamiegetty7011 Oceana really got screwed this generation

For me, Reg G is a perfect time to take a break! Not looking forward to going back to that reg

Glad to hear you plan on coming back, but it is always okay to take a break king. I know you are gonna kill it at Brisbane 💙
Thanks King, appreciate you 😘
would love so much to see you do more casting you have a real talent for it
Keep an eye out 👀
Great video, I’m excited to see what you do in the future!
I’m actually quite a fan of random ramble videos because it stands out and feels like I can understand a content creators thought process better
Glad you enjoyed it
Fire Fish enjoyer! 👍
Ima miss reg H, but also... feel like Im okay going back to G, despite how much I hated it towards the end.
@@thedarthbear GS cup is what I'm looking forward to most
Good luck brother. Content is a long game. Do whats best for you.
Thanks Lumi ❤️

@@theantoabinash we know there is one more to be announced, and everything I know points to Melbourne, it's definitely the safest bet

I have a lot of plans for things I can test, I still want to try do similar videos, my main goal is to increase the quality of the videos

Joe's just crazy 🤣
I think knowing when to take time off is super important, it's just hard when you're also making content I guess

It's tough out here
❤
Good luck brotha I’m just now getting into vgc so hoping never get the burnout
It comes and goes, when it's fresh in think it's much less likely
Moxie is an amazing content creator however as a VGC player MID 😂 LOVE THAT HE CAN FIGHT BACK IN THE COMMENTS THOUGH 😅
He's a great dude to, He's been working on his game a lot recently as well, I really hope he can build on last season
