While not an official DB track, the Therewolf Track “The Never-Ending Dream” is probably one of my favorite tracks ever made. Was not super into that matchup until I heard that track.
Strongest Alive is my favorite. It just makes me feel.....great about myself. It captures my love for helping people, in whatever form that may take, comforting them in tough times or just making them smile. "If you're searching for some kind of breakthrough, I promise to be that light" just f*cking HITS me every time I listen over and over again. Easily the greatest 99 cents I've spent. It encapsulates the good I'm capable of. That....I feel all of us are capable of. A versus match song did that for me. THAT is why I love Death Battle.
@Butter625 it's more than a personal dislike of the match, people got really annoying at him because of it, him deciding to not watch something that caused actual problems with him is understandable
Yes! I've been waiting on more people to talk about the music, its soooo good. My favorite is stuck between Fireborn and Final Formers. Its so hard they're both so good, especially when ones a TF track
51:37 the instrumental music that plays in strongest alive is 100% Black Clover Brandon gave himself has even mentioned it or confirm it is since someone else said it was. Just want to put that out there.
My Top 10 10. Thunder Shroud 9. King's of Iron 8. Wing's of Iron 7. Mighty 6. Prince's of Pride 5. Dragon Dance 4. Hallow Dreams 3. Fireborn 2. Hedge of Tomorrow 1. Super
What amazes me about discordant decipher is that playing the song backwards, it’s still just as much as a bop as it is forewords, especially when playing the backwards message forewords
Personally Fireborn is my favourite as a stand alone song but as a part of the battles nothing tops Super for the sheer tidal wave of epicness that is hearing Brandon yell “Watch me come alive” while Michael Knovack puts his S O U L into that Kamehameha
I really love God's Hand, and I think its really cool in how its main part means something different for both Guts and Dimitri. For Guts, God's Hand pretty obviously refers to the God Hand from Berserk, so the talk about "pushing us to the end" are obviously talking about death. But it took me a minute to think of what God's Hand refers to with Dimitri, and honestly this is probably me looking WAY too much into this, but I THINK it refers to Byleth (who is kinda the goddess or has at least merged with her soul) when he helps Dimitri; meaning Byleth "pushing us to the end" would be more supportive, as in God's Hand is helping him,
Off the top of my head, Stronger Together, Mighty and Super would probably be my favourites of the lot. There's just something about each of those three that absolutely hits.
My Favorite Track of all of death battle is Ikari. It's also one of my favorite music tracks of all time, but i can get why you placed wings of iron at the top, it absolutely rocks.
Your top 10 is basically identical to mine, love to see it! Though... I would put Final Formers at Number 1. Even if you never plan to watch the episode, you should listen to it, because as a fellow Transformers fan, it is amazing. Feels like a sister track to Wings of Iron, which apparently was the intention, and it is Brandon's self admitted favourite track that he made in Season 10. Perfect love letter to both characters. Still, totally fine if you're not interested, this list is perfectly based as is.
I love the music The Creator of the music has made Cross over battle themes that aren't episodes of Death Battle yet One of my favorites Brandon made that's not a Death Battle yet is My Otherself (Yu Narukami vs Neptune/Purple Heart Persona 4 vs HyperDimension Neptunia) By Brandon Yates
That's kind of in poor taste given one is from an episode connected to his religion and the other is connected to an episode he's been harassed over en masse.
Honestly before the recent season mighty was indisputably my favorite track. Biased in a way since it’s from my favorite episode that not only helped me get more in touch with my childhood liking of Naruto and made me give MHA a chance. Which was good since it’s my second favorite shonen of all time. But legit I listen to it so much it’s stuck in my head so often. But now I would say my favorite track is Super. It’s a pure fun track that I think legit just like Goku vs Superman’s first track feels like a perfect death battle track. Like just a song that fits the fun and enjoyment of this community and the way they write the characters to fight.
I love many of the DB soundtracks but "Super" has been my favorite since the day Goku vs Superman 3 first came out the other month. I was listening to it on repeat during the morning of that day as i was waiting for the episode to air. And i still listen to it a lot. Its just feel so fun and energetic, awesome, action packed and heroic all at the same time. It really gives me the feel of keep pushing till you have nothing else to give.
when I first heard mighty I knew that’s what I wanted from all death battles on the show just wow. It’s 2024 and now I can say it is my favorite track of all time. GOATED.
(1/3) >Fireborn being 2nd >Wings of Iron being 1st *Finally, inner peace.* I mean, it kinda was expected for me to comment on a ranking list about Death Battle-related OSTs given the few people that know me in this fandom probably register me as "that one weird guy that writes walls of text on Brandon/Therewolf tracks for no reason". Well regardless, my general opinion on the list is, perhaps unsurprisingly, pretty favorable. While there's a few tracks that I don't agree with the rankings of (which I'll elaborate on later), most of the ranking is more than acceptable overall. So assume that songs I don't mention are ones I agree with or that I just don't have anything to mention on. Welp, here goes nothing. 116-I may be getting flak for saying this but honestly... I think Battle At The Zoo is underrated. Sure it's basic, sure it doesn't have too much to go for it. But I think it works as a simple track. It's not high tier but IMO it's a midtier track that pulls its weight (similar to how I actually feel about Batman VS Black Panther). Only issue I have with it is the name which is just yuck. 110-While I do fully understand that out of all the track that DB got with rap, Fight Like A Devil is probably the one that leans the most there, I do think it plays well with it. It's not for everyone but even as someone that doesn't really like rap myself I really appreciate it. It's catchy, has pretty cool lyrics and a few moments that massively stand out (the ending notably is great IMO). 108-Resident Rising is one of those tracks that is average overall but that has a few segments that are so damn good that it's in the upper parts of my ranking. Those piano bits and the ending just stand out so much that it makes me wish the track fully capitalized on them because they already make it much better than it would otherwise be. 104-Dragons and Dumplings is a track that I keep gaslighting myself into liking because of the final part that has an absolutely amazing buildup when Po uses his dragon. But each time I listen to it I realize that "oh, that's it ?" It's a decent track but gosh it just doesn't do anything more than that and it makes me sad. 102-TGIH suffers absolutely massively from the episode it's in and what it tries to be. It's one of the few DB tracks I outright dislike because, as someone that's not big on atmospheric tracks, it just sounds like a whole lot of nothing to me. 13th Halloween is most definitely the track I consider "canon" for this matchup. 101-Unlocking Heaven is a mediocre track that got one of the best glowups with the remaster it got. The original is really forgettable as you said but damn the remaster is amazing, just wish that it was the one we got from the start (curse the fact that Brandon had lowered-quality equipment when making it which is why it ended up subpar. 100-Princeses of Wonder is in a similar case to Dragons and Dumplings except less so. It's a track that I keep gaslighting myself into thinking I like it but really I just like the main melody that's heard mostly at the start, other than that it's forgettable as sin. 96-Appetite For Greed I do think is genuinely really good. It's not top tier but it's weird not seeing it recognized more than it is, it's funky, fast and generally really cool. It does everything it needs to do and then some more. Me likey. 95-Suit Yourself is a track that I originally really liked but... Gosh it fell down in my rankings. Everything you say is completely correct, I would just add the fact that the lyrics just are *tiring* in a way, they're not easy to listen to because of how, honestly, poorly written some of them are and the general bloatedness of the song with different melodies makes it feel just "too much". Ironically, Ketchup and Flush Down which was supposed to be a "parody" of Suit Yourself ended up being the better version of it. 91-Lost Ice Storms is such a shame to me because I really want to like it, but it has "early vocal track" syndrome where the instrumental is absolutely amazing but the vocals are implemented really poorly. And gosh the vocals make the song much worse than it'd otherwise be. Another one of those few tracks I don't like. In a way it reminds me of what Wrongfully did: the instrumental I appreciate a crap ton but the vocals just make it impossible to listen to for me for one reason or another (only difference being that Wrongfully completely butchers the characters in its lyrics while Lost Ice Storms just has poor lyrical implementation). 88-100% is a track that I think is massively underrated. I keep forgetting how good it is and each time I listen to it I find myself putting it on loop because of how good it is. It's extremely intense and powerful in all the right ways and the last part of the track is just perfection. Only issue is the first entire minute of the song where literally nothing happens. Almost makes me forget how poor Mob dies in his episode. 78-Thunder of Wonder always went hard, and honestly same as the episode itself. It's a massively underrated track that's energetic, fitting and just generally appreciable. Just a shame that people don't note it more often. 75-Dangerous Gaze is that one video game or movie you watched/played in your childhood and remember absolutely amazing but when you finally watch/play it again as an adult, it's only decent. It's a really good track, don't get me wrong. But the way Brandon has improved on the leitmotif over time just overshadows the original which is most definitely a good thing as it shows how he's improved as an artist. 74-Draconic Robotics is in the exact same place as Resident Rising except even more extreme: it's a very average track for 90% of its duration but the Power Rangers theme segment is just... Gosh, for a long time it was my singular favorite segment of any DB-related track ever. I genuinely like that segment more than the original Power Rangers' rendition of it. It singlehandedly makes the track absolutely skyrocket in ranking even if the rest of it is just average as said before. 71-Yet another case of "average song, great segment". I just can't remember anything about this track except the Earth's Mightiest Heroes motif that makes it not totally forgettable. It's not bad, true that, but it just feels like "one of the tracks of all time" aside from that singular segment. I guess in a way it fits the episode itself. 67-Chaos Unraveled is a track that I'm forever conflicted on. I can listen to it twice back to back and the first time I'll love it while the second time I'll think it's cringe as sin. So it ends up being in the lower parts of my rankings because of that. It's not overly flawed, mostly a personal taste thing due to the vocal deliveries and lyrics which I find a bit meh but it's just "brought down" by the fact that the average DB track is at least decent, so anything below that feels "bad" in comparison. 63-Weather The Elements is I think the only tack which is made better by its name because gosh that name is great. Other than that it's a decent track with a very solid ending but it doesn't really stand out too much (probably why the name manages to make it stand out a bit, because the rest is average by DB standards.) 58-A track that's just above its episode in my opinion. It's not a bad track but the fact that it doesn't really stand out in any particular way and that its episode is freaking awful means that it results in a very forgettable song that, when you listen to it, you'll think "neat" but then you'll forget about it because you remembered that the episode itself was awful. 57-The song that perhaps fits the episode the most in its quality: the first half is so forgettable and generic that it ends up bad but the second half really stands out in a massively appreciable way. Shame that the rest of the song doesn't work that well. 55-One Winged Devil is legitimately one of my favorite Death Battle tracks. It perfectly catches the DMC feel while also sprinkling the few parts of One Winged Angel that I like (yes, I don't really like One Winged Angel) which ends up in an epic, catchy and intense combo that both fits the episode and sounds fantastic on its own. 52-Alive is for sure a song that is worthy of mentioning just because of what it brought to Death Battle. Even if you don't like it you're forced to recognized what it is and what it has. In the grand scheme of things it's a really good representation of the Goku VS Superman "trilogy" on Death Battle: GvS1 is the classic that isn't perfect but comes really freaking close to it and even if you don't like it you're forced to acknowledge what it brought to the table, GvS2 is the one that (almost) everyone thinks is subpar even if it has clear qualities and GvS3 is the redeeming episode that everyone ended up liking. The same applies to Alive, Dragon Dance and Super: Alive is the classic, Dragon Dance is the one that's good but just not good enough and Super is the pinnacle of what the previous two tracks brought to the table and a love letter to the original. So yeah, Alive is appreciable just for what it ended up bringing.
(2/3) 47-A nice song but gosh does it underexploit the dynamic of the X-Men theme and the Teen Titans theme. When I first heard it in the preview I fully expected the two themes to "duel" in the track like they do at the start of the animation but turns out that nope, we get like 3 seconds of the Teen Titans theme and that's pretty much it while the X-Men theme fully shines. I guess in a way it fits how Raven is, as a character, generally less imposing than Phoenix but eh. Still, it's a solid song, just not an amazing one. 45-Reverse Rosé is a track that I keep thinking isn't great but each time I listen to it I realize how wrong I am. It's a genuinely great song that fits perfectly the characters and of course utilizes the meme perfectly. Just... Don't listen to it on loop, there it goes downhill. 44-Stronger Together is a track I've somehow had reverse nostalgia for. When the remaster released I decided to listen back to it because I remembered it being nice but not legendary and it ended up being one of my favorite DB tracks while the remaster was honestly a slight downgrade from the original because it just doesn't play into the strengths that the original had. It's aged, yes, but damn it's good. 41-Hell Over Heaven is good. The ending part of Hell Over Heaven is fantastic. Everything from the moment Dio freezes time to before he teleports behind Alucard is utter perfection. It flawlessly completes the epic segment of the animation it's meant to accompany. Truly feels like a culmination of a fight between two evil man-made deities with the sheer power and flow to back it up. Rest of the track is good but damn that ending is fantastic. 35-Such an underrated track. Four Fist Death Punch is one hell of an energetic song that feels perfectly fitting, "almost nightcore" definitely encapsulates this because of how good it is. A shame not many people talk about it because it'd deserve the fame. 30-Another underrated track. To me it's one of the most iconic tracks of Death Battle and yet it's rarely talked about. Sure it's generally well liked but nobody mentions it even tho it deserves it. And the fact that Therewolf referenced it in Continuing the Legacy recently makes it retroactively even better than it already was. 27-Honestly ? Yeah I agree. Any song with the Avengers theme gains points in my books but Marvelous is really freaking good even in a vacuum. It perfectly fits the characters and just sounds amazing. I do think the remaster is good but loses points in one specific segment that has a weird motif that doesn't sound good. Regardless, both are really nice. 26-Ikari's pretty fittingly similar to the episode itself. A decent track but just lacks the sheer impact that the matchup requires. It amazing on the surface but the second you start looking past the shiny cover, it doesn't have much to it. Even the more brutal segments of Ikari don't really feel powerful and that's a shame because it's a nice track, just not for Broly VS Hulk. 24-God's Hand is a genuinely amazing track that will forever live in the shadow of Awakened Sacrifice for me. It's fantastic but I can't help but compare it with its spiritual predecessor, even if they're vastly different. So it indirectly loses points because its competition is so harsh. Quite the tragedy for such a nice track. 23-Chorus of Carnage is and probably will forever be my favorite DB instrumental track. Everything you say about it holds true and then some more. The fact that the main melody of the track holds for almost the entirety of the track to get across the personality of those characters as some overwhelming everpresent threat that'll never stop chasing you if it sets its aim on you is fantastical, especially due to how good the melody itself is. And the remaster just makes this even better. Really, the only competition that Chorus of Carnage has in terms of instrumental DB-related tracks are commission tracks (that being Covenant With Hell and Ultima Machina (and HELLFIRE if you count JPVS Scores but I commissioned that track so it doesn't count (do go listen to it tho it's cool))) so that's saying a lot about how good it is. 22-Blood Moon isn't a bad track. But man does it just not go with my tastes. Anyone liking the genre will love it. But as someone that doesn't like songs with "screamed" lyrics, I just can't like it. At all. 20-Infection Perfection is a track that I am convinced everyone has just been brainwashed into loving. It's not a bad track but damn I don't understand the love it gets. To me it's just above average and definitely suffers from "early vocal track" syndrome where the lyrics aren't really great. One of the few tracks I just don't understand the love around even if of course I can accept it. 18-Glad to see some Kings of Iron love, it's such an underrated track that it most definitely deserves the appreciation, similar to the episode it belongs to. Everything said holds true. 14-So yeah, I did kinda say my opinion on Dragon Dance before: it's a good track but it just doesn't reach the potential it had. It's the low point of the spiritual trilogy it belongs to (and given it's still most definitely a good song, that says how good the trilogy is on average). Good song, not perfect. 13-Strongest Alive is so heavily carried by the Mighty-inspired chorus that every time I listen to it I end up just listening to Mighty instead. It's not bad and greatly references all the tracks it uses as ref but... I mean, Mighty. 12-A track that single-handedly brainwashed me into loving Vegeta VS Thor for a sizable amount of time. Now I'm back to just loving the ending of the episode but I sure as hell still love Princes of Pride. It's original, catchy, fitting and most importantly it perfectly accompanies the episode to better it (seriously, despite how good it is, that Final Flash wouldn't be as good without the track.) 11-I mean, it's Super. Not much to say about it, it's great and an absolute love letter to Alive in the same way GvS3 was a love letter to GvS1. It's a culmination of the trilogy and what a good one it is. That singular "Watch me come alive" before the final chorus was absolutely *heartsent*. As you said: it's just a fun song, and a great one at that.
(3/3) 9-May get lots of flak for this but... I don't really like Thunder Shroud. It just never clicked for me and given the love it has I listened to it a lot but I just never manage to end up liking it. I get why people like it but it just doesn't do much for me. 4-It's Mighty ! What's there more to say ? It's borderline perfect and I'd be a damn liar if I said that I don't get the chorus stuck in my head at least once per day due to how catchy it is. That track is probably the most iconic DB track to me or if not it's damn close to it. It perfectly catches that heroic and symbolic feeling, it just *feels*, well, mighty. Those guys are heroes, they know it and everyone else does, including the song itself. And that's all there needs to be. I do think the final guitar part is less perfect but only because of how fantastic the chorus is and there's no lyrics in the final part so that isn't an issue. 3-Discordant Decipher is really good but it just feels like it's missing something. I remember someone saying that it genuinely would have been better without lyrics and as much as I love them... I think I may agree ? I mean, half the lyrics aren't heard in the episode to begin with and it's still great. And even if Mr. Goatee's performance as Discord is just absolute perfection, it does overshadow Brandon's as Bill which makes Bill's verses feel a bit overshadowed (I guess it fits character-wise given Discord's a much more imposing character than Bill but still). Doesn't make it bad tho, far from it. It's a fantastic track for sure. 2-Fireborn. Ah Fireborn. The only track *ever* with Awakened Sacrifice from Death Battle and anything related that comes close to Wings of Iron. Everything you said about it is spot on: it just feels like a sung legend you'd hear in a tavern centuries if not millennials after the characters of the song have long since disappeared. Hell, I love Chosen Undead VS Dragonborn but damn, Fireborn just makes the animation feel underwhelming with how good the track is. The only flaw it has is that it ends because it's utter perfection. Genuinely, it ticks every single box for me to the point that when it first released, I actually had it higher than Wings of Iron and that's saying *a lot*. Now they're about on par with one another in my rankings but this is still a testament to just how good that damn song is. Truly perfection that couldn't have satisfied my Skyrim-loving heart more than it did. 1-I mean, it's Wings of Iron. Is there anything more to say than what you did ? It's genuinely the most stand out, unique and fitting track that's ever been done for Death Battle to the point that I don't even know if it's possible that any song will top it ever (if Fireborn didn't, what can ?). I'm not even that big a fan of Transformers (even if the Bay movies will forever be in my top ranking movies (except the 4th and 5th, those don't exist) because mentally I'm a child and big robot goes boom is amazing) but this track just feels like it comes straight out of the era Transformers comes from. And even if one might say that it leaves Gundam in the dust, I really don't think so because Gundam also has that feeling of being relevant to the time Transformers appearing in. It doesn't feel like a Transformers track as much as it feels like a tribute to all the media that we loved as children from that era. There is not a single negative thing about that track and it manages to make an episode that I already like in a vacuum (because I do genuinely love Optimus VS Gundam even if I do understand the issues people have with it despite my disapproval of them) into one of the top ranking DB episodes *ever*. Overall I still had to cut a lot of stuff from what I wanted to say because of length (hell, it still ended up being a 3-part comment because of the sheer amount of stuff I said, so thanks for reading all of it if you did) but in general this list is a really solid one for sure. I don't agree with everything as said at the start but most of it I either can understand even if I don't agree with it or I full on think the exact same. Death Battle OST and the people that made those tracks managed to make me realize just how much I appreciate music as a whole and even if not every single track that the series brought isn't perfect, the general consensus for me is that the average quality of those songs is definitely quite high. I don't often review official tracks because, well, until recently we just couldn't and it's harder to review a song that actually has an animation to fit it but it doesn't make them bad in the slightest. Every single one of them with few exceptions manages to stand out in some way and that's simply wonderful. Also, I noted that you said you'd both finish ranking Brandon's commissions and make a ranking for Therewolf's so I am most definitely looking forward to those videos. Truly a commendable effort done with this video.
Am i crazy or is Final formers missing? I was looking for it as it got higher into the list and mkre season ten songs wrre on but it wasn't there. Did i overlook? Oh and the song from sun wukong vs Heracles?
Hey to comment on Strongest Alive. While the Vocals are MHA the Instrumental is all BC BC is known for having more Rock Esc Themes and Rifts and strongest Alive captures Asta and Dekus energy for wanting to help everyone perfectly. As a heavy BC who feels Asta was pretty OOC for the Battle I will always think strongest alive is a Banger and a Great Capture of Astas character.
I am not really into rap, but the Death Battle ones i do like With the songs i really like Hearts of LIght, Discord Decipher and Slingshot/Stingshot. But there are lots of other songs i like
It'd take too long to comment on the entire list, so I just wanna bring up one thing. Well, two things, but I get people not really being into Widow's Kiss, even if I think it's it's underrated. I don't know if I necessarily sleep on Ride into Hell, because I do think it's good, but it's kind of... repetitive? Not the entire thing, but maybe the first half at least is. The second half with the guitar riff at the end is great, though, and the episode itself uses the track very well. Just my personal thought is all.
Personally, Mighty is my favorite, but All Consuming, Fireborn, Final Destruction, Wings Of Iron, Discordant Decipher, and God’s Hand are also up on my list.
@@metaldragmire8539 He mentioned in his season 10 review that He was bullied and harrased for years for his video "Why i dont like freeza vs mehatron". Go watch that vid for more information.
It's not even on you just disliking rap. Rap is my favorite genre. Kings of Infinity and Fight Like a Devil are legitimately bad boring tracks with basic ass beats and the least convincing delivery since Joe Pesci's wise guy.
0:51 Just to weigh in on this specific topic. While Brandon Yates is undoubtedly an exceptional composer, I generally can’t parse the lyrics in the soundtracks he creates. So most of the music sounds very samey to me. I prefer Therewolf because the soundtracks there almost never have lyrics so I can actually enjoy the music fully.
Had to make sure you weren't fucking with for the Green Arrow and Hawk eye song going so hard, could've sworn it was some MVC3 sounding song. Also Wings of Iron being where it is a shocker considering how mid you seem to think the episode was.
No Final Formers? :( that was my favorite one i did last season

While not an official DB track, the Therewolf Track “The Never-Ending Dream” is probably one of my favorite tracks ever made. Was not super into that matchup until I heard that track.
Up there with Will of The Drill for me as my favorite unofficial tracks.
The Never Ending Dream is straight up one of my favorite songs
Yeah.
Strongest Alive is my favorite.
It just makes me feel.....great about myself. It captures my love for helping people, in whatever form that may take, comforting them in tough times or just making them smile.

Final formers being omitted is kinda sad but i get it

Personally Fireborn is my favourite as a stand alone song but as a part of the battles nothing tops Super for the sheer tidal wave of epicness that is hearing Brandon yell “Watch me come alive” while Michael Knovack puts his S O U L into that Kamehameha
I really love God's Hand, and I think its really cool in how its main part means something different for both Guts and Dimitri.
For Guts, God's Hand pretty obviously refers to the God Hand from Berserk, so the talk about "pushing us to the end" are obviously talking about death.
But it took me a minute to think of what God's Hand refers to with Dimitri, and honestly this is probably me looking WAY too much into this, but I THINK it refers to Byleth (who is kinda the goddess or has at least merged with her soul) when he helps Dimitri; meaning Byleth "pushing us to the end" would be more supportive, as in God's Hand is helping him,
props to nemesis for using gaslight correctly

Really disappointed we didn’t get to hear you sing, would’ve been an instant classic
Mighty, Wings of Iron, Discordant Decipher, Diabolical Invincible Me, and Kings of Infinity are my faves
I love the music
The Creator of the music has made Cross over battle themes that aren't episodes of Death Battle yet
One of my favorites Brandon made that's not a Death Battle yet is My Otherself (Yu Narukami vs Neptune/Purple Heart Persona 4 vs HyperDimension Neptunia) By Brandon Yates
Video is called "Ranking EVERY Death Battle track".
Doesn't include Heros Journey and Final Formers.
Classic Nemesis.
Hero's Journey makes sense bc personal reasons, but cmon Final formers is an absolute banger
@@estherwinchester2831I don’t think he’s watched firezatron
@@humansbreathe8706 he can just listen to the music on his own without having to watch the episode.
That's kind of in poor taste given one is from an episode connected to his religion and the other is connected to an episode he's been harassed over en masse.
@@tuvyamaeir4684”harassed over en masse” just log off/block those people, lol
Just started the video, but I know Im gonna like it. Thanks for you insightful and entertaining content Nemesis 💙
Man, I'm surprised to see someone else put Slingshot up near the top. So many people gloss it over.
when I first heard mighty I knew that’s what I wanted from all death battles on the show just wow. It’s 2024 and now I can say it is my favorite track of all time. GOATED.
I can guess why you didn’t include Final Formers
(1/3)
>Fireborn being 2nd
>Wings of Iron being 1st
*Finally, inner peace.*
I mean, it kinda was expected for me to comment on a ranking list about Death Battle-related OSTs given the few people that know me in this fandom probably register me as "that one weird guy that writes walls of text on Brandon/Therewolf tracks for no reason".
Other than that it's a decent track with a very solid ending but it doesn't really stand out too much (probably why the name manages to make it stand out a bit, because the rest is average by DB standards.)
58-A track that's just above its episode in my opinion.
(2/3)
47-A nice song but gosh does it underexploit the dynamic of the X-Men theme and the Teen Titans theme.
It's original, catchy, fitting and most importantly it perfectly accompanies the episode to better it (seriously, despite how good it is, that Final Flash wouldn't be as good without the track.)
11-I mean, it's Super.
(3/3)
9-May get lots of flak for this but...
Loved your ranking!!!
Hedge Of Tomorrow, God's Hand and Super make me too happy for my own good
American Phantom does also remix the American Dragon theme, it's the Eastern sounding instrument heard throughout the song.

Hey to comment on Strongest Alive.
While the Vocals are MHA the Instrumental is all BC
BC is known for having more Rock Esc Themes and Rifts and strongest Alive captures Asta and Dekus energy for wanting to help everyone perfectly.
As a heavy BC who feels Asta was pretty OOC for the Battle I will always think strongest alive is a Banger and a Great Capture of Astas character.
I will die on the hill that Wings Of Iron is the best Death Battle! Track

My favorite track is either Wings of Iron or Fireborn. They’re both absolutely fantastic
Do you mean Final Formers or Gods of Destruction?
I think my top 3 is…
3: wings of iron
2: goodbye, chimichanga
1: final formers

Just to weigh in on this specific topic.
