Reason number 14: You don’t know how or care to TEACH the trade to an apprentice. I been there, some plumbers/companies just care about their earnings and don’t care to hire a willing helper to teach them the trade.

Everyone poops, long answer, you can do new construction( residential and commercial) Renovations, maintenance and service on top of side jobs (most people don’t want to touch plumbing even though it’s still easy most of the time) and if your good you can stick to heating/cooling side of plumbing and never touch sewage

Discomforts in any tradesman is probably one of the top killers of the career in it. From the outside doesn't look bad.......I've noticed the simpleness of a kid who never complains about being uncomfortable "Its do damn hot" "its so damn hot" "Im wet" "my hands hurt." Seems like these are the guys who stick around. But, only a physco likes dirty hands! The dirt between the fingers is like sand in the teeth.... BLAH!~!!
This is a great video if you're considering almost any trade. If you cant handle a little discomfort, you should probably look else where.

Example a permanent installed hydro jetter installed in the main and the sewer line that would be perfect It would break up debris before it gets clogged

    • @RogerWakefield

Are you throwing anything down that shouldn't go down the drain? How old is your house? You could have old cast iron pipes that may need to be replaced...a permentantly installed hydro jetter would be nice...if its possible..there might be easier options to fix that problem.

We can fill a 300 gallon tote and gravity feed the water to the motorhome or go fill up the tank on the motorhome. One company offered to dig a well for 8k dollars but if they do there work and find no water we still have to pay the 8k. Next company is 12K for a well and it is guaranteed to find water. WOW.
