Who are we?
We are a European couple from Germany (Alex) and the Netherlands (Mandy), sailing around the World on our 36ft sailboat. 3 years ago we started our journey in Greece with little sailing experience, figuring things out as we go, thinking we know what we are getting ourselves into. After those 3 years we know better, so it was time we took on a new challenge: we added a little crew member to our boat family, meet Levi!
Our goal is to circumnavigate the world on our 36ft Beneteau as a famliy. Sailboat life is super different from land life. It is fantastic and pretty rough at times. And now with little Levi, it often is even harder and more fun.

I loved Greece, we only sailed it through the winter though lol
You guys are funny, so many go to Greece with a sail boat and you as an example say: now we are going to Delos… then you show an other island (Delos is inhabitant and will only allow you to walk on it till 5:00pm) NOT A WORD about the island and it’s history, culture which they were ahead of Athens and their money was used to build Acropolis. Nothing about Greek islands and panigiri, holidays that go back thousands of years, the tavernas, the amazing food, the coves that you think you are in heaven. Such a tragedy that you visit Greece and miss so much.
It would be a crime to include everything that Greece has to offer in one 20 minute video. That’s why we have a whole library of Greece videos on our channel
I have visited Delos numerous times with my boat and it really hurt to see your 1 minute comment about it. If you have a WHOLE LIBRARY OF GREECE you should have mentioned it then. It’s sad as most sailing addicted young and old these days discovered that showing skin, images of beautiful women generates income for them and missing the true point of the pleasures the sea and sailing are all about.

It's not by anymeans, winds are erratic always confused often gale force. That and endless numbers of charter boats clueless how to anchor correctly, unfortunate numbers of italians on ribs who speed round achorages treating other boat users and bathers in anchorages as they do to zebra crossings in their own country. If you like to sail go charter in Caribbean.

I like watching sailing channels but I cringe when you make videos together. Maybe it’s better to pretend you’re just out there documenting your travels. Instead, this video felt like i was watching a bunch of TikTok influencers. It might get you more subs… but…. - I won’t condemn you for going where the money is. I’m a money sell-out and it’s the reason why I’m on land right now. I’m just trying to share legit feedback in hopes of helping. I’ve been watching you two from the beginning as I too have a 361. Cheers!

Hey! .... the rigging doc made the comment when you were two miles off the breakwater that he chose to put the sails away cause he did not want to be rounding the breakwater and have the furling sail jam .... had you been having problems with jamming furlers? ..... Great episode, looks way more relaxed than the first Greek adventure vlog .... Had to laugh when you were talking about moving twice in a day where as when you are cruising you stay in one spot longer, think the example you gave was two week ... a lot of people winter in Turkey, would you do that, or is it just people that want to reset their Schengen clock, I remember you wintered in Spain .... thx for the share ... as always .. have fun be safe, save our oceans ... never stop dreaming, just dream bigger ....

Yes, sailing in Greece is that good. But, let's be honest, you gotta love wind, strong wind, gale force wind, and you gotta to love to have it day after day.
As they say, if you can sail in Greece and in the Med in general, then you can sail everywhere.

@@seethelittlethings If I could I would. I support you the only way I can. I'm a retired gentleman who can't afford TV but I can afford a laptop. Thankfully. I watch many channels like Bums on a Boat. And others you have met. I so wish I was 30 - 40 years younger to be doing what you are doing. I have done Blue Water but health doesn't permit anymore. But so many of you are keeping me alive I'm sure of that.
Keep your dream going. You can do it. And thank you for letting me into your life.
