- Sir David Rodigan with his second radio clash with Barry G on JBC Radio, hear some dub plates here that were HOT then & still stand the test of time, with the show being broadcast on Capital Radio on the Roots Rockers show.
Still have this on cassette. An all-time classic.🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Hopeton Junior, Gamblin' Style; ever released? Can't have only been my cup of tea.
These clashes are like historical documents. Classic stuff! Respect for these uploads!
Did you notice, the FIRST Dubplate was from Tubby's
Yeah. Rodigan had that dubplate recorded EARLIER that day!!! That was a big dancehall riddim at the time. Plus, it's good to hear that Ini Kamozi flashing in and out, showing the youths the tune is way older than "Welcome To Jamrock". Dem tune mek before dem born.
so glad I found this!!!
Glad I could be of service, I remember this clash so well.
OMG!! It's taken me 36 years of my life finding the CHOON of this clash. The introductory New Kingston Posse (cut at Tubby's) @3:05. I know that this was a dubplate but does anybody know whether this was ever released as a single? PLEEEZE let me know so that I can die a truly happy man !! :-D
