Iwas actually at this show I was 4 years old.but I was there me my family.Parliament was a big thing in detroit back then it was like going to church when ever they came to town.
drgroove and U kno this mann😏 Parliament Funkadellic use to play Detroit all the time n the 70's. From the Olympia Stadium, Cobo Hall to the Pontiac Silverdome and the Funk festival. We use to light up the stadiums by flicking our bic lighters (like they do now w/cell phones)and we would have our umbrellas poped open inside doin the Errol Flynn and gitter buggin😉 good ole memories.
This group was straight out Cosmos Cartoonish, just as George Clinton said years later. Definitely among my top 5 groups; Sly&The family Stone, Graham Central Station, Ohio Players and Kool&The Gang. Great Posting!
Parliament Funkadelic Bar-Kay’s Peter Brown Madison Square Garden 1978 My first time being in NYC without an adult. I was 14. Me and my 15 yr older brother. When NYC was wild. Great memories.
I was at this concert, and many many more, I had a great copy of this concert, my copy was much better without all the screen distortions, and sounded like both channels were intact. Unfortunately of course it walked away long ago. Yo Ho
believe me, I get plenty high from the music alone. since I am a musician I hear a lot of techincial stuff people miss. I can actually hear when George turns up the volume on certain tracks and faintly hear him giving directions. never did drugs, never will
This is a baddest live show of many P-FUNK jams, fly on the mothership connection,we had fun when were young and now we are old and got a story to be told, it's Parliament Funkadelic Bootsy 🎸🎸🎸 maggot brain Eddie hazel, Bernie worrell Gary Shider macro Parker Junie Morrison, P-FUNK y'all 4-ever 2020 OK let me ride and flash my light, like a woodpecker with a 🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸 in his headache, now shoot me with the bop gun when you taken every kind of pill, nothing seems to happen until you are ill !

I remember a similar interview on the Funk New Times website (out of Germany I think). The site has been defunct for a while now, but it had some good info and interviews. If we're talking about the same interview, Jerome talked about (literally) walking off of the tour bus...
@OrgenaII There was an interview that Jerome did for a website where he tells about what happened at that time. I use to have that site but I believe it was a P-funk type news site.
