- Seamus is a 9 year old boy who has been diagnosed with a serious illness. In search of a miracle, he sets off to find God before God comes for him. Inspired by Saint Columcille, Seamus sets out in a small boat without oars or sail. On his quest he encounters James and Darry. Despite initial conflict, the trio decide to stay together and enter upon a journey that results in the healing of hearts and minds.

I love the simplicity of this movie with a realistic story.
The two boys act naturally and all the casts are great.
The message is that the little boy did find God as he drew his last breath n looked upon the face of our Lord Yeshua. The heart worms James is referring to, is the bitterness he had for so long since he witnessed his father's murder. He was filled with resentment, anger & hate. The little boy's unwavering faith opened his corazòn & he himself was healed via the miracle his young friend wanted him to believe in. Truly a lovely heartwrenching movie. Padre God be Praised. Peace be with everyone & a Blessed 2024. I urge you to get right with Heavenly Padre & accept HIS Begotten Son, your/our Saviour. Wow that was powerful and mighty faith strengthening! Also, heartbreaking. Shamus restored James' faith in God and saved his life! If you can accomplish that during your lifetime? It's a life well lived.

What a clever Irish story! Terrific young actors, made the film cohesive. I really enjoyed it,Alot of symbolism involved. The sick young boy, who deeply believed in God, in contrast with the cynical angry teen, who had witnessed his dad's murder. Great movie!

Having finished the film, I am still trying to get a handle on it. Beautifully done: Scenes and acting. The "heart worms" I get. Cleverly constructed a TRIPLE plat interwoven.

I think this a wonderful movie.
I read the captions. The story gets changed and what is said, is woeful translation. It must be part of the reason why this movie movies in general, don’t become all they can be.

Me encantó la película, El niño tenía una Fe pura y hermosa, El Joven aunque guardaba dolor y rencor por su Padre tenía un buen corazón en el fondo y se que atraves de la Fe del niño Dios logro tocarlo, y por último el Señor de la bomba, Dios le estaba dando una segunda oportunidad y no la aprovecho, todo por su sed de vengarse o por el dolor de la traición, tuvo una segunda oportunidad y no la aprovecho porque su corazón era vacío por dentro y por fuera una piedra, al menos al final no mato a ese hombre, fue el único acto bueno que hizo y sin embargo su desenlace fue fatal. Buena Peli, bendiciones.❤

Very interesting use of color and gray scenes. Near death gray, still possible life . Then color once man is some better on his feet. Gray again at the ending.
