I watched a couple of your videos then got to nerve to tear apart a printhead in my XR640! The head wasn’t printing yellow so I tore into it and saved it! Thanks for putting up these vids!
I wasted so much time to unclogg my printhead, cleaning it in so many ways and nothing worked, all this time I could have just unplugged that metal plate as you did in the beggining. Damn it helped a lot, Thank you, I gave a like and also subbed !

I want to do this with a dx5 printhead. I already have the special glue. Do you use toothpick apply the glue first then spread with cotton bud? Or you just wet the cotton bud with glue and spread it, even over the nozzles? Many thanks for sharing this information.

I pour cleaning solution liquid to cleaning unit and let printhead soak in it for every night
