Take a look at Oberainger they convert Sprinters to 4x4. They are also authorised by MB and their conversion doesn't invalidate your warranty.
I enquired about converting my LWB 4.5tonne Renault Master and I was quoted 14,000 Euro which came out around £12,000 sadly I haven't had this done yet!

it’s very cool. But the price is way too high! You can get a pair of dynatrac 60 axles under a Ford van. Even with a diesel Cummings conversion. it would still be cheaper and more capable.

    • @alexokunnur8946
      @alexokunnur8946 4 года назад

And it's a little toy. Because 37" don't give any extra "off-road power" - so it's a total waste. Staying with stock 4x4 and almost stock 31-33" tires will do the same. Or go to Arctic truck edition :) But then you have to go to Arctic or Antarctica to utilize it fully. Or Iceland.

auto cuby creates custom sprinters for passenger transport and they have done away with the sliding door and added a pneumatic-powered door on the side of the passenger seat, as seen on coaches.
one massive advantage is that the space normally taken by the sliding door is RECLAIMED!!! that means you can get yourself a nice galley there :).

FFS if you are presenting st., try to pronounciate it correctly, its Iglhaut, not INglhaut, the name is in front of you in such a big letters, isn't it
Second thing is, the bloke that represents Iglhaut has such a face, I wouldn't buy a cookie for charity from him, he somehow manage to stink even over the screen
Third thing is, Iglhauts are not as capable, nor durable, as they used to be putting Bremer/T1N (that should the bloke knows) on G-wagen drivetrain
Not loosing warranty, but have a car nearly a year (with shipment) in Germany for rebuilt is defo not worth it
Oh yes, and the price is ridiculous, not adequate to what it can do and how poorly it last under hardcore conditions

This is the worst vehicle I have ever unfortunately had to deal with on a professional level.
the Mercedes sprinter is very expensive to maintain the average diesel in America only cost $0.01 to maintain per mile the Mercedes sprinter cost as much as ten cents per mile just to maintain the bluetec system.
Average cost to replace is $7,500 up to 10,000
I cannot see how this system could possibly cost much to replace.
Wake up people don't let Mercedes tell you there's nothing better.
All these people who are in these videos are being endorsed by.
if they say they are not being indoors they are getting something from Mercedes in return for their positive review.

That interior looks cheap for a $135k camper van. That's a big nope for me. Plus, the maintenance cost of a Mercedes Sprinter is outrageous. I see rollovers in this van's future with 37" tires + lift.
