This is one underrated if not unnoticed piece from Madonna. The melody line is so beautiful. Her voice gets husky at times. And the array of the instruments is so impressive. So cohesive that you don't notice how many instruments they end up with. Guitar, bass, marimba, strings, piano, percussion, keyboards, trumpet, background and sub chorus.... What a masterpiece.
My favorite song of the mythical, legendary masterpiece album "Like a Prayer" which celebrates its 30th anniversary on this march 21st 1989. So emotional. I cried when i first heard this magical beautiful ballad. "Like a prayer" will be the album of my entire life till the end. THANK YOU MADONNA
