Today is my birthday. My most hated day of the year. It reminds me I'm still here on earth. Been depressed for more than half a decade, and will most likely be for the rest of my life. Was a devout Christian and now all I can think of everyday is it's better if God didn't waste my time and His. And today, of all days, I see Dr Helen's video saying it's a privilege to be here on earth.
How can God waste His time when He is eternal? I pray you'll find His Shalom. Hope you manage to have a Happy Birthday!

I have had depression for over twenty five years. It was very very hard going through it. I wanted to die so many times during this time. I had many rows with God about my misery. But I didn’t realize that Jesus was in it with me. I thought that He was far away and just putting me through it with cold indifference. But I was very wrong. He walked right beside me but I didn’t believe it. I couldn’t see Him. He is the one who walked with me through all the years. There was a very good reason for my suffering. He showed me myself in a way that I would never have known any other way. I came to know Him in a way that I wouldn’t have otherwise. It is for our ultimate good and blessing that He allows us to go through the fire. He does it to free us from ourselves and make us free. There is a time allotted by Him for our trial. Afterward it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness. He is in this with you. You are not able for this on your own. He wants you to be totally dependent on Him for everything. He loves you so much.
Oh Dear Nowhere, if I can encourage you, "If GOD is for us, who can be against us? 32 HE who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all,
how shall HE not with HIM also freely give us all things?" Romans 8:31-32
In my life I have faced many trials, tribulations, accusations, and much isolation! For so long I held self hatred, thinking that I was the problem! But I have come to know the LORD in such an intimate way! HE is my husband, my sweetness, my special joy! But growing to depend on HIM required my suffering and a kind of death of my will. Life is not fair, but my LORD is the one who offers kindness and comfort in my suffering!
Genesis 50:20
Joseph said to his brothers after being reunited in Egypt, "But as for you, you meant evil against me; but GOD meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive."
So sometimes, we can't see the purpose or the plan until the end of our suffering!
Romans 8:28 "And we know that ALL things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the CALLED according to HIS purpose. 29 For whom HE foreknew, HE also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren."
I am being conformed into the image of CHRIST slowly! It is my prayer that you are reminded of HIS faithfulness to never leave you! Please get on your knees and ask HIM for forgiveness and a brand new start! Just watch as the weight you are carrying is eased! May HE bless you more than you could imagine! 💜🙏💜
She seems to have been one of those all-too-rare saints who had all of God's Word, and all of God's Word had her. Incredible testimony.
Yes rejoice in death and mourn at birth. Its better to die and go home to Jesus. So blessed our sister is to now be home in Heaven. Wonderful lady. It is a privilidge to serve Jesus✝️💞

This dear woman of God surrendered to a higher calling and she endured many rapes and beatings yet never gave in to self pity and anger toward God. This world needs more people with her convictions, courage and determination to press on during the hardest times!!!
