Nutrisystem often changes our food choices but you can always take what is offered and add vegetables into it and make your meals more filling. Don’t let changes trip you up, you’ve got this!!😊❤️
@@pamdoneen654 my favorite hack is the steak & cheese open faced topped with sautéed mushrooms, topped with ultra thin provolone cheese, melted. So good!
Hi Pam!! 🤗 . . .So happy I found your channel. I’m starting NS tomorrow and you’ve given me SO many great ideas! You’ve done so well; and look amazing! Thanks for all you do!!
just starting nutrisystem when my order arrives. I am doing the basic plan so I have to incorporate flex meals, been watching your channel to get me prepared. The tomato soup idea is great, but do you have to count the tomato juice somehow or is it considered a vegetable? I live in Canada and cannot purchase the frozen meals so this def helps with making the shelf stable meals more filling.
I cook all my lunches in a mini crock pot. Three hours. Add veggies, some chicken broth and the Nutrisystem lunch. Everything taste so much better and the noodles double the size. Cozy food and delicius
@@pamdoneen654 I saw a woman cooking all the lunches in a mini crock pot for 3 hours and it looked delicious! More creamy and bigger portions. It cost only 10$. The dumplings with chicken with some chicken broth and half a cup of peas or broccoli and two tablespoons of sour cream is DELICIUS😋
@@pamdoneen654 I saw it in a video in RUclips. And I bought one right away! They are soooo cute! And perfect for Nutrisystem portions! It makes the food even better! Remember, 3 hours the minimum time. Mini crockpot were made just to heat sauces, but it's perfect for our food because it's already cooked.
When I was on Nutrisystem I had a problem with food boiling over too. So, I just ended up cooking it in a pot on the stove. I wish Nutrisystem would give more room in the cups, so things didn't boil over so easily.
I use the 20oz personal size Crockpot, it’s a game changer with preparing the NS cups. I bought it out of necessity because my office doesn’t have a microwave and I needed a way to heat my lunch. I put a cup of diced veggies (depending on the veg is whether I pre-cook them) on the bottom, then layer in the NS cup, and then the measured water (or fat-free low sodium broth), and leave it on for an hour or so. The sauce of the meal coats the veggies and creates a big delicious meal. It doesn’t cook raw food, but it heats perfectly. Depending on the cup is what veggie I add. One of my fav is the Loaded Mashed Potatoes; I add 2 servings of green beans, along with a little extra liquid so that it’s more of a potato soup than mashed potatoes. Mmmm mmmm good.
@@VickiTheCraftAttic Definitely mmmm mmmm good!! You are the second person this week that said use a personal size crock pot, I will have to try this😊❤️
