Here's a season 8 edit that I meant to finish way earlier lol. Tbh I think season 8 was pretty good, yes I am disappointed about a few things, but it was overall a good season! (In my opinion) This whole series has definitely been a ride. I'm not ready to let go of it just yet, I started editing because of this show :') What are your opinions on the final season? 1:06 I think this was a big Pidge and Keith ship moment. I personally don't ship them, but it was cute and emotional. The fact that he didn't go for anyone else but her was so emotional. Even though he showed interests for Hunk and Lance before, he just chose Pidge. Now this could be because she was the closest, or that she was a girl (but so was Allura), or because the other's were already sunken under the floor (too late to be saved), or that she was the only one with her hand up for Keith to take. But why did she put her hand up for Keith to take - unlike the others? Maybe because she trusted him, or because she saw he wasn't sinking through the floor like everyone else. I just think it was a nice friendship scene between Pidge and Keith, how much they've formed together - that's surprisingly not much, and I wanted it to be more. I think they would've been besties by now, but nope. And the fact that Keith was crying (or at least was scared, worried, sad and determined to help Pidge and the others) over the fact that he's alone there, was so heartbreaking. And he even tries to break the floor with his sword just to get to them! It's so sad, that shows how much he actually loved his friends - as a family. Alas, the fact that nobody cared about Keith when they were underneath, was also pretty heartbreaking. He did all he could just to get them back, to see them again. Poor Keith, it was so sad that he was the only one who stayed up there. But when they came back, they were all happy to see each other (especially Keith). And finally they can form Voltron once again. BUT THEN ALLURA HAD TO FREAKING DIE, LEAVING LANCE HEARTBROKEN EVEN THOUGH HE SAID HE WASN'T BY MAKING THOSE ALTEAN FLOWERS AND 'MOVING ON'! And yes, I liked my own comment!

I loved the whole season! It was so emotional and I enjoyed every part. It's true that the ending is not perfect and it doesn't make everyone happy, but I think it's a good choice. Also, I loved the edit, it's perfect and great, I'd like if you could keep with Voltron edits, even though the show has got to an end. Thank you 🖤

I’m really glad that everyone in the comments section is showing love and respect for this season, and I just had a blown out discussion with someone about our opinions on it and even though they were both very different, were able to come to a peaceful resolution and I feel really happy that even though many people disliked the ending, there are some who see those who enjoy it or who decide to look on the positives (like me) and respect and even encouraging them to love it as they do, which I feel so grateful for. What a way to send off the series! Honestly, I loved Season 8! While I wished Allura's ending was different and I was hoping to get a spin off for the FME pilots since they hinted at it, I really enjoyed the entire season. The show pretty much became my favorite animated series of all time. I just think it's really over-hated by too many people.
Yes! I just finished rewatching the whole thing. XD Every show has it's flaws, but Voltron is one of the good ones. The characters were written so well, and the interactions, too. There's a reason I adore this show.

one word, 3 letters, ART! >:) and about the season 8, I agree with you, the season 8 was kind of disappointment 'cause a lot of fanats wait for something more, and in my opinion I think Dreamworks just wanted to end the series, so they did a couple of episodes nice and the rest faster, it's like: "oh it's just one season, we can do another but nah let's do like a whole history about the end on 3 episodes" :/ so uhhh- yeah xd, and why I think this? because they did Allurance (I don't have a lot of problem with that but - yeah x,d) they literally did one relationship on.. what? like 7 or 8 episodes (talking about the whole series) and we are gonna to accept that Lance looked sad, right? :( and the dialogues they used for the date were horrible! Lance literally said to Allura he loved her and he could across the whole universe for her and she just said if that was really he feel >:/ and that it, that's my problem with season 8 :) (and also Lance wanted to be a pilot but he had a simple life "as he liked it" :( and yeah thats it xd and the fact most of fanats wait for klance (yeah I include me xd) so the whole relationship between this two was like: ._.xd JAJSJAJSA so yeah xd PD: sorry for my English xd

There was a lot of stuff that felt like they built it up with a cool plan in mind but then didn't rly do anything with it. They also had introduced so many characters in the past couple seasons that most of them ended up just being their to fill space rather than add to the story. And Allurance honestly felt so forced to me, like I rly didn't believe it at all whenever they were together. I'd have to agree! I didn't like how they did Allurance at all; i don't really ship it, but I suppose it would have been okay if there was more of a build up to it and actually felt real. Allura treated Lance so wrong
xoBlythee I’m probably playing devil’s advocate by your opinion but I want to make Allura’s positive a little more sympathetic, I think that she was hesitant about starting a relationship with Lance was because that she was still hurt by Lotor’s betrayal and was more focusing on the war instead of a relationship, which is understandable considering the situation. I also think that there were plenty of moments before then that showed that she was starting to think of him a little bit more than a friend, such as when she become the Blue Lion’s Paladin, when Lance activated the Altean Broad Sword, etc. However, I understand if you see these moments as more platonic than romantic, so whether you think that the relationship was forced or not, let’s at least be happy that Lance is happy in the end and that Allura gets to see her father and the old Paladins again as well as others.

Plus I feel like if they had just been friends it would have been a better character arc for Lance/ lesson for guys in general, cause how it currently reads is “keep flirting with a girl that has repeatedly shown she isn’t interested until she eventually likes you.” Also bringing up the Lotor Allura arc only adds to me personally feeling it’s forced because right before their kiss scene Allura found out about Lance’s feelings and genuinely looked depressed about it, and then continued to have a relationship with Lotor happily. Hali Meloy that’s ok, while I have different opinions about it in general, I can understand your point, while I can (and it kind of hurts to say) understand that Allura’s decision to chose Lotor over Lance was a bit hindering to Lance’s and Allura’s relationship, but I personally head canon that (and I’m sorry to you Lotora fans) that she realized that she probably didn’t love him the way she thought she did, cause while their relationship is pretty cute, it seems like they only connected through their connection to Altean energy (if you a different opinion that’s great, this is just how I see it.) but when it came to Allura and Lance’s relationship, there were some signs that she was slowly considering Lance as a partner, and while I agree it could have been handled better, I choice to focus on the positives about their relationship and hopefully we both can agree that whether this part of season 8 was handled well or not, the season in general was good. Thank you for being kind and expressing your opinion carefully (unlike most fans which is awful) and I hope you are doing well.
@@thewhiteshe-wolf9975 Yeah, honestly it's so refreshing to be able to talk about this kind of stuff without having to worry about immediately being shut down or yelled at, Lol, and I totally agree with you on the Lotora arc that their only real connection was the altean energy. I guess I just feel like the overall writing in season 8 wasn't as tight as it could have been, honestly I felt like it was starting to loose it's momentum even after season 3. They spent less and less time on the characters interacting and more time on explaining the plot, which eventually lead to me not feeling like the characters genuinely cared about each other. Obviously there were some really sweet moments that prove otherwise, but on the whole, in S8 especially, it just kind of turned into the characters just being their to lecture the plot to me. A big example I can think of is Keith and Shiro not really showing any evidence of their brotherly bond at all in S8. Lol I have no idea if what i'm saying is making sense at this point, but to sum up, Yeah I can get where you are coming from, and I totally understand preferring to look at the positives of a show or pairing, and more power to you for that :)
If it makes you feel better, technically Allura is not really dead because if you see after the credits of the last episode (I think?) you will see a teal galaxy figure of her, indicating that she became a celestial being of some kind and her spirit is still very alive.

Hali Meloy that’s ok, while I have different opinions about it in general, I can understand your point, while I can (and it kind of hurts to say) understand that Allura’s decision to chose Lotor over Lance was a bit hindering to Lance’s and Allura’s relationship, but I personally head canon that (and I’m sorry to you Lotora fans) that she realized that she probably didn’t love him the way she thought she did, cause while their relationship is pretty cute, it seems like they only connected through their connection to Altean energy (if you a different opinion that’s great, this is just how I see it.) but when it came to Allura and Lance’s relationship, there were some signs that she was slowly considering Lance as a partner, and while I agree it could have been handled better, I choice to focus on the positives about their relationship and hopefully we both can agree that whether this part of season 8 was handled well or not, the season in general was good. Thank you for being kind and expressing your opinion carefully (unlike most fans which is awful) and I hope you are doing well.
@@thewhiteshe-wolf9975 Yeah, honestly it's so refreshing to be able to talk about this kind of stuff without having to worry about immediately being shut down or yelled at, Lol, and I totally agree with you on the Lotora arc that their only real connection was the altean energy. I guess I just feel like the overall writing in season 8 wasn't as tight as it could have been, honestly I felt like it was starting to loose it's momentum even after season 3. They spent less and less time on the characters interacting and more time on explaining the plot, which eventually lead to me not feeling like the characters genuinely cared about each other. Obviously there were some really sweet moments that prove otherwise, but on the whole, in S8 especially, it just kind of turned into the characters just being their to lecture the plot to me. A big example I can think of is Keith and Shiro not really showing any evidence of their brotherly bond at all in S8.
Lol I have no idea if what i'm saying is making sense at this point, but to sum up, Yeah I can get where you are coming from, and I totally understand preferring to look at the positives of a show or pairing, and more power to you for that :)

If it makes you feel better, technically Allura is not really dead because if you see after the credits of the last episode (I think?) you will see a teal galaxy figure of her, indicating that she became a celestial being of some kind and her spirit is still very alive.
