Anyone else catch the third Bane movie slip up instead of Blade. Gave me a chuckle thanks Jules.

Since weird audio was mentioned... I've never gotten over The Matrix Reloaded's dropping bowling pin sound effect adding insult to the already weird alleyway fight with CGI Smiths.
I don't recall any bowling pin sound effects but what stands out badly for me was that fight scene. When Neo fought just half a dozen Smiths it looked good and then up to a dozen still cool but once it added 100 and particularly when he brought than pole into play, the CGI felt more video game than real.
When he knocked all the smiths over... Yeah, that was dumb.

The stupidest thing about Al Guhl's death is you have an atomic bomb that is about to explode but three people stop dealing with the bomb to listen to her dying words.

Marion Cotillard's performance didn't so much bother me. What bothered me was her character died too soon. I would have preferred she see the bomb successfully fly out of Gotham as she realizes she failed - her father, her protector, and herself.

I found it to be better than the sequel.

Marion colltiard has/will never be remembered for that scene alone in my mind! Her role in inception is vastly underrated imo!
The Snowman is an awe-inspiring watch, I highly recommend it. Whether you've never read the books and want to get invested in a B-movie mystery or want to laugh at and not with a wildly unhinged movie mess, it delivers on both accounts, I absolutely loved it.
Being from Wisconsin, I thought the trailer was hilarious. You gotta really hate your victims and yourself if you're gonna dress up dead bodies as snowmen in the middle of winter all alone in the cold. This was maybe the silliest idea for a killer ever committed to fiction.

The VFX issues with the Scorpion King, were not only about Johnson, the budget was capped and the production didn't have the money to complete the VFX and the studio decided to release it as is.
Bane 1 was my personal fave
The original Godfather has an absolute howler moment no one ever mentions - the scene where Sonny is beating down his sister Connie’s husband Carlo after he brutally beat her - James Caan is dishing out his revenge on him in the street and there’s a shot where Caan hits him with a massive air swing, a stage punch that clearly lands nowhere near the guy - it seems odd that Francis Ford Coppola would use such a lousy angle of that punch and it stands out like a sore thumb on an otherwise masterpiece of a film.

Holy Crap!! If you're not going to use the audio in a clip that clearly centers around audio (aka-the slide whistle) the for GOD'S SAKE just don't use that clip. There's plenty more to pick from.

The scorpion king thing seems crazy considering how long The Rock was missing from the WWE at the time as I was watching raw and smack down back then felt like he was away for ages then when you see the film how much he was actually in it didn’t seem to justify the time.

Now I don’t know a thing about CGI, but couldn’t they take the scorpion king, use whatever “framework” exists for the creature, and lay over some new CGI to clean it up like George Lucas did with Star Wars? Then repackage it as the “fixed version” and resell it alone and in a box set? Easy money.

wish you would've played a short snippet of the slide whistle, would help alot when you're speaking of a sound to actually be able to hear the sound
Marion Cotillard is a terrific actress. She won a well deserved Academy Award for her work in the Edith Piaf biopic La Vie En Rose. I always assumed that there was a much better take of the her death scene. Actors almost never shoot just one take. But even the best actor is capable of a bad take. The mystifying part is that Nolan used that take. Who knows what he was thinking.
Out of the ORIGINAL 8 movies, the best Halloween movies are Halloween, Halloween II, Halloween 4 & Halloween H2O
The delusion to say The Mummy Returns wasn’t a good movie. The first 2 movies were CLASSICS!
One of the scenes that ruined it for me is when at the end of star wars, lando is wearing han solo's clothes. Still don't have a clue why
He left Cloud City in a hurry, didn't have time to pack a bag and Han certainly wouldn't have kept Lando's wardrobe on board.
Even Family Guy agrees with you on Lando wearing Han’s clothes. “Something Something Something Dark Side” even made a quick joke about it.

I love how everyone villifies Wesley Snipes for how he acted, but never thinks too ask why he acted that way. Other actors have done the same thing, but don't catch the same blame. They more or less get treated like that's just the way they are...

I totally remember the scene in THE DARK KNIGHT RISES. It felt like being straight from a b-movie but also showed Marion Cotillard's limited acting abilities.
I don't think that Orlando Bloom's eye colour ruined scenes, I imagine that 90% of people watching the movies noticed to be honest

Suggestion: Have you considered actually showing the instances which you are describing, rather than just narrating over unrelated clips?
Showing the full clip requires licensing - i.e., a massive expense that What Culture could never afford. The clip without the audio + commentary? That's transformative content that makes it fair use. Showing the clip alone? Not so much.
All those YTs showing full clips? Yeah, 99% of that is copyright violation.
The mistake in the Scorpion King wasn't just the horrible CGI it was the incredibly STUPID decision to make him a human/scorpion monster. This looked like some monster from one of those TV shows or movies shown on Syfy.

That movie was forgettable at best. Without Rebel Wilson's atrocious performance, Cats might have had some redeemable qualities.

Why not just say "Hey, Jules, there's an obvious flub right here where you say "the third Bane movie" instead of "the third Blade movie," so we're gonna need you to re-do that line?" You guys already read from a script (unless it's a Tues Your Own Adventure or a Not-List, because there's actually more freedom there, it seems), so idk how it's that difficult to do another take for one line that's already scripted anyway. 🤷♂️😅
That third Bane movie was good but not as good as Bane 2.

Not really my favorite movie but The Last Jedi could have done away with:
1) The Canto Bight sequence
2) Rose saving, or ruining Finns's plans plus kiss from out of nowhere in the story
3) The whole sequence where Holdo witholdo the information about the plan from Poe (someone that Leia trusts a whole lot)

I used to work in movie rental and knowing certain details about movies like this was part of my job. That being said there are a few inaccuracies in this list. Wesley Snipes tried to buy his way out of his contract because the script for Blade Trinity was so bad he wanted nothing to do with it. That led to him after being forced to make it anyway being a prima dona on set and egven buying the rights to the character of Blade so that trash like that could never be done to such a good character again. The Scorpion king bad CGI had nothing to do with the Rocks WWE schedule and more to do with him being too sick on the day of shooting to film the scene.
One thing that always bugs me about WhatCulture is that the hosts can't stop yammering for even two seconds to play sounds from the show or movie when the item is specifically about AUDIO. I know what the slide whistle effect was and why it was bad, but someone who hasn't seen TMWTTG would have no clue.

Yeah, specially since using like 2 seconds of sounds when you use minutes of video should still be under fair use. Also also, it's a soundeffect, not a song or dialog.
It's due to copyright issues, if you make a video and upload it to RUclips or pretty much any video sharing platform using music or sounds that are copyrighted and belong to somebody else best case scenario is they will make you take it down worst case scenario you can get into a lot of trouble
