As an American who loves Hard Rock/Heavy Metal, I've been a fan of Loudness since 1983-84. They are criminally underrated here in the U.S. and do NOT get the credit they deserve. They were one of the most progressive, talented, creative, and unique bands in the history of Metal. I love "Thunder in the East", but 'Lightning Strikes" was a masterpiece as far as I'm concerned. You should totes check out the metal scene in Japan right now. Bands like Lovebites, Unlucky Morpheus, Mary's Blood, and Aldious. Aldious started a wave of female fronted power metal that is fucking amaze-balls.
