We were at the show. Fantastic display by the Italian Airforce. We were out on the links this morning by Moravia, NY and all 11 aircraft flew directly over Owasco Lake and Moravia heading southeast toward the next show at NYC.
Same for me. I missed seeing them in Kecskemét, Hungary in 2013 so having got the chance to catch them three times on this North America Tour was awesome!
Saw them during the '92 tour, and again last weekend in Rochester. The Frecce Tricolori is fantastic. Wish we could get them here more often. Folks who have not seen them will enjoy their display immensely.
@@ErnestGutschikAviation I have seen most of the world's great military aerobatic teams and while I love them all, this team is special. Their "Big Wing" finale to Pavarotti's "Nessun Dorma" gets me teary eyed every time I watch it. Please let it not be 30 more years before we see them again.
This object stabilization was awesome! It definitely highlights the amount of movement between jets during the demonstration more than you would notice watching it in real life! Awesome video.

At last, a professionally taken recording of our Frecce Nat tour. Really nice. Congratulations. Next time, more wide angle, you're losing the whole picture of the more spectacular figure, such as Arizona and the Bomb.
Thanks! Unfortunately, the camera zooms out very slowly during filming so I’d need a second camera to get those maneuvers zoomed out- something I’m working on for future shots.
30 years as an air show announcer (now retired) and can honestly say having seen both the Saturday and Sunday shows that this team is outstanding. They hold those nine and ten plane formation with absolute precision...frankly, better than the Blues and T-Birds. I know at least one US smoke oil vendor was very interested in learning what they use to color the red and green smoke! (He did get that info, by the way) Congratulations on a spectacular video!

unfortunately I have to disagree good quality of the shots, but you got carried away by being tight and you missed all the figures of the formation the Arizona, the bomb, the heart....even the scintilla. if you get the arrows again the soloist tight the others, the formation, widen when they fall because they make figures.
Thanks! Yeah, it’s an unfortunate reality with the style of videos. I was able to capture the heart but because of the haze from the smoke and the lighting at the time it was very difficult to see. The Cardiod and the Scintillia Tricolore would’ve worked but I have needed a second camera to capture that too from a much zoomed out perspective since the camera is very slow to zoom out during filming. Something I’m working on for future videos.
Sometimes they take some guests and other pilots from the airshow up for a ‘joy ride’ during the shows. I know when they were in Canadian Forces Base (CFB) Bagotville, Quebec they had some of the CF-18 Hornet pilots go up for the show on some of the days in the back seat.

Absolutely a great display! Oh right on, yes I believe they landed at Stewart Air Force Base if I’m not mistaken.

Just wondering why some of the jets are flown solo and some with two pilots....

On number 9's backseat is the team's photographer, on number 8 it looks like the pilot in training for the next season

@@blupampurio5995 Quello è certo. Per questo si continuerà a volare con i 339 per più tempo possibile. Almeno altri 3 o 4 anni.
