I interpret the cracks in the ground vanishing under the monster's footsteps as something like "Your spark has burned out. Your glory days are long behind you." A natural thought for an inner demon to be throwing at you when you appear to have gone from being a rich, famous stuntman to living in a hole in the wall. But Oxob proves it wrong. His glory days aren't over. They're just beginning.
He’s also been at this way longer. That felt like a theme in Gildedguy vs Oxob, that he’s of an older breed than a lot of his contemporaries. I mean, he was already a stuntman, and then he got his enhancements and proceeded to do RHG stuff for years. He needed his leg enhancements after he was crippled, he needed braces for those after his legs were damaged, all of that. The end of that story showed him seemingly returning to normal, I assume some sort of healing caused by the fight. But he seems to be past his prime in a lot of ways. So as of now, he’s fighting not just to keep himself afloat. He’s also trying to show he’s not done yet. There might also be something to the demon’s blades seeming a bit like Jade’s fans.
OHHHH what an improvement! You blended the 3D and 2D shots very well this time, and the extra features like eye movement added a little extra flavor to the 2D sequences! AMAZING WORK OXOB!!!
DUDE! I loved this. So good. Sound design was PEAK as well. Loved the alien sounds for the nightmare. Lighting was incredible as well. So, so good bro. OH, and that 3D rotation and smash... 👌*chef's kiss*
havent checked in for a while, but was hungry for a lightning based fight scene to watch at 1am. absolutely did NOT disappoint, this was gorgeous and the music choice made it 10x spicier :D always happy to see more oxob story!

Something to enjoy about fight animations with exchanging blows that are actively being reacted to. Contact of blocking and clashing strikes makes the hits that actually go through more impactful imo. Not fit for all fights, but it's a quirk in battles that I find fascinating. Love the flow of the animation!

His hands weren't broken from the fight, but after seeing how useful gold and electricity are in battle, he took inspiration to create that. We'll see it in action eventually.
