Best away fans at the Coventry Building Society last year were Blackpool, easily. Leeds fans are in a class of their own - deserve their own category.

All I can say is thanks for the rating FJ. Argyle fans don’t often get the credit we know we deserve. We’re generally a decent bunch. Sometimes the further away we travel the more appealing it becomes. Nice to up there with some of the big boys. One day (soon) our days might come.

West brom fans have always been pretty good in my experience
As a spurs fan, it all depends on the intensity of the game. The North London derby, watched in on sky you could not hear anything but the spurs fans. Especially with the TIFO before the game.

Plymouth took 900 to us which is good on a Saturday but they did it in a Tuesday which is absolutely fantastic Cambridge is a long way as well

Harsh on Carlisle imo. One of the better followed away teams in the league, we take more to other teams grounds then they bring to us most of the time
And the area we are in as well doesn’t really get taken into account

The thing is with Tranmere fans is you’ve got Everton and Liverpool a stones through away and it would be easy for any fan to just tag along with them but you know every person at the Tranmere match wants to be there and has a strong love for the club we might not always be the loudest fans but but ever fan that is apart of the super white army would happily give the right arm to see us do well

Really? I was a Pompey season ticket holder for 4 years (97-01) and they are sometimes really really shit. Southampton are better, especially away. Apparently Michael Eisner bought Pompey as he was looking for another Micky Mouse project after Disney :D

Stockport vs Crewe, Tranmere, Bradford or Pools. We have one of the best supports for a team of our size, it has been building for years.
As a Boro fan you are bang on with our fans..absolutely brilliant. However Birmingham? I went to the Birmingham V Boro game last week. The atmosphere was the worst I have ever experienced by home fans. They were pretty much silent all game.
When Brentford come to Leicester, they are class fans they are always singing! In my perspective they should be elite

Im happy with where you have put mk dons, especially since you probably have never been on an away day with us but our away support is actually very very good so i would personally put us in decent saying as we are a new team and to still bring numbers in the thousands to most away days is quite impressive but tbh you have to experience it to know

Crewe coming to Port Vale , 12 miles away and they bring a couple of hundred . 12 miles and a couple of hundred fans , Vale travel to Crewe and sell out and out sing the train spotters . And thats all you need to know , we get more from Exeter on a Tuesday night than Crewe can bring on a Saturday . Is there one LESS than tin pot ?

As far as chelsea goes it has to do with the game at home. If it’s a cl knockout game or pl game vs tottenham I think you can say chelsea is least elite for those. It’s because it has to do with chelsea fans’ high expectations except if it’s a rivalry like tottenham. Win lose or draw vs tottenham it’s always intense atmosphere.

Decent tier list the only big mistake I would say is Bournemouth they have a poor home fans but they they have an elite away support weather that’s cause we r bad (Birmingham fan) and they always beat us and have a good day but they make a fair bit of noise but overall very good tier list

Putting Liverpool in anything but the highest tier is crminal. They almost allways sell their games out, and the kop is just something else. There is also constant noise. And at away games, they are sometimes louder than the home team.

I was just at cov vs Leeds yesterday (6 Apr 2024). First fanbase I’ve ever heard outsing Leeds home or away. Also seen their away end at Preston. I absolutely agree with you they’re top top tier. Not easy to make an atmosphere in a goldfish bowl so fair play. Hope next time I see them is in the Prem
All I massively disagree with is Carlisle and Wimbledon who should both be far far higher and MK who should be far far lower
