Edit: I was informed that Mohg stealing away Miquella is no longer theory, but instead a fact now. Thank you to @animeproblem1070 for this friendly correction. Ansbach tells us that Miquella enchanted Mohg. Which furthers the case for this video now that Miquella is manipulative AF.
Edit: I was informed by @simoneslcazar816 that its not actually fact because of how the timeline works and how Miquellaโ€™s enchantment works. Miquella more likely didnโ€™t plan to get captured by Mohg, but when he did, he changed his plans on tje fly, enchanted Mohg, then went to the Shadow Realm.

It isnโ€™t a fact when Miquella charmed Mohg. Only that it happened, it could easily be before or after Miquellaโ€™s kidnapping. That part isnโ€™t fact and it make more sense he only did it after Mogh kidnapping. Given that every character charmed by Miquella had direct contact with him.

Donโ€™t know when. It wouldnโ€™t make no sense for Miquella to put himself into the Haligtree just to get Mohg to get him out right after. Not to mention Miquellaโ€™s ability charm always required direct contact to the person so Mohg would need to be in Miqโ€™s proximity to him to be charm just like Ansbach. He was in contact with him.
Itโ€™s very like Mohg plan was always to steal to ascend him to be the God for the Formless Mother, due to Miqโ€™s Empyrean status. Since Mohg ruined his plans with the Haligtree, Miq charmed Mohg and used him to get to the Land of Shadows. Any other point in time wouldnโ€™t make any sense. So Mohg would still have wanted to kidnap Miq pre charmed.

We donโ€™t know WHEN Mogh was charmed. And every person that was charmed by Miquella was in direct contact with him.
The only time where Miq could and would charm Mohg is only AFTER Mohg stole Miquella from the Haligtree. Every other scenario makes no sense otherwise. So no. Mohgโ€™s plans always involved using Miquella but it backfired. Sorry, he didnโ€™t beat the โ€œAllegationsโ€.

So how you figure this narcissist going and abandoning everything they have to make a world a kinder place?
Instead of pursuing power he was more concerned with curing his sister and making a home for those who are ostracised.
Miquella is a gentle and kind, he has a power of a god but mind of a child, however genius he is.
He would be a benevolent tyrant but tyrant nonetheless.
    But he's not a narcissist.

    • @BeyondHorrorGaming

I hear where youโ€™re coming from, my points were made in the video to substantiate my claims. Beyond that, I dont really know how to dispute it with you, unless you break down my claims in the video and we can go back and forth on it (as long as we can have a respectful and academic conversation about it).
I am willing to discuss why you think he does not have NPD.
My work is made to bring up these discussions and provide different insights. Its fine that you disagree, but again, you would have to break down each of my claims and disprove them, then disprove the evidence I used to substantiate said claims. Otherwise, its not a conversation, it would just be us saying the other person is wrong, no real value there.
Yes, he abandoned everything and tries to make the world a nicer place, but it was for hedonistic reasons and this โ€œkinderโ€ place is a place made in HIS image. Its based on his prerogative as to what is โ€œkindโ€. That is indicative of someone with NPD.
Again, yes he didnโ€™t outright pursue power. He wanted to cure his sister, giving no care to anyone or anything else, another piece of evidence that he only cares about what he wants. Then the Haligtree, I used that whole thing as a piece of evidence when talking about his Messiah Complex and his need to circumvent HOW he gains and exerts power. Again, derivative of someone with NPD.
A lot more was presented in the video.
So I reiterate, IF you are really here for academic conversation, I would be happy to discuss, respectfully, and my ears and mind are open to learning. But if youโ€™re just here to tell me I am wrong, I will just give you a thumbs up and tell you to โ€œhave the day you deserveโ€.

Because a narcissist especially a malevolent one type would always strive for the best position in life.
And the only position that can match a NPD's glorious self image is a position of absolute greatness aka GOD himself aka the greater will in Elden Ring.
And under the pretext of benevolence''(first of all prove that the notion of good/benevolence exist)that comes along his quest for absolute power/control, Miquella the kind will of course dispose of your fate as God himself and if you disagree with his narcissistic godly fantasy, what will become of you is less desirable than the most horrible nightmare..
As you know Miquella's sister is the goddess of rot Malenia and know about decay.
Therefore refusing Miquella superiority over your insignificant self would lead you to a neverending state of IN-Between like the people of the Lands between lives in.
A state of Decay and Rot like a narcissist would let you IN, in fact in real life..
      HA..
My point is, how blind you have to be for just letting anyone take God spot and agency for presumed kindness and Good(?)..
In Elden Ring, Miquella as a character archetype for the Antichrist, the abomination in the temple of God/Gate of Divinity version in Elden Ring is setting himself as God and tricked/charmed everyone into not getting what he had in his mind and lead everyone utmost attention elsewhere over the most criminal of the crimes he was actually commiting..
The same Lucifer commited against God in Heaven..
Betraying his will, willing to take his place..
Therefore the AC in the Bible does get his share of contention over who is actually the GREATER Will..
For God does not do things in vain if you believe in Good..

The shattering event in Elden Ring matches the day of the Lord in Isaiah 30, that's my claim..
Here is the excerpt, i quote :
      Isaiah 30 : 14
"14It will break in pieces like a potterโ€™s JAR,
SHATTERED SO THAT NO FRAGMENT CAN BE FOUND.
Not a SHARD will be found in the dust
large enough to scoop the coals from a hearth
or to skim the water from a cistern.โ€
It is like this Bible event is directly portrayed into a fantasy land, made of medieval kingdoms, cities and supernatural creatures..
An allegorical parallel of our reality which is the earth..
The lands between would be a metaphorical depiction of the Heaven and what happened at the time of the day of the Lord..
In christian beliefs it is said that whatever you bind on earth will be bound onto heaven and vice-versa if it is loosed, i quote :
      Matthew 16 : 19
"I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.โ€
In the Bible it is said that after the strong men has been bind, the kingdom of heaven has been taken by force/violence, i quote again :
      Matthew 11 : 12
"From the days of John the Baptist until now, the kingdom of heaven has been subjected to violence, and violent people have been raiding it."
This is what the lands between is portraying..
In isaiah 30, the context is that the lord God is speaking against the Children of Israel when intending to inflict punishment onto them..
We do see the words :
      -shattered
      - shard
      - pottery
      - jar
Doesn't these words remind you of the topics of the elden ring shards/runes scattered across the lands between and its jarheads inhabitant (?)
It is like GRRM took passages of the Bible and superposed a layer of narrative onto it.
That is because this is the case.
Elden Ring story is a meta-narrative of many outer cultural elements including the Bible..
Elden Ring Lore can't be grasped solely by taking it up front.
You have to get outside of its story and find other pieces of the puzzle in GRRM sources of inspiration to truly grasp its scope.
I claim also that in light of what is happening in the lands between which is a sight of utter destruction/corruption, the game reveals that the Lord God in the Bible is the Antichrist (!) and has deceived everyone to think the contrary..
It is like the claim of the Gnostics who speak about a demiurge who is indeed the god of this material world and thinking he is the only one..
And that Radagon as the Lord God in Elden Ring is also actually the Dragon=Rad(a)gon of Revelation, the Devil which is why he is the antagonist of the base game.
      Revelation 12 : 9
"9And the great dragon was hurled down-that ancient serpent called the devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him."
Miquella therefore as the antagonist of the DLC, the one behind the veil or the shadow of the erdtree plays the same kind of role, the AC/Satan in the temple of God/the Gate of Divinity in the DLC..
This Antichrist in the temple of God is found in one of Daniel prophecy, i quote :
      Daniel 8 : 9-12
"9From one of these horns a little horn emerged and grew extensively toward the south and the east and toward the Beautiful Land. 10It grew as high as the host of heaven, and it cast down some of the host and some of the stars to the earth, and trampled them. 11It magnified itself, even to the Prince of the host; it removed His daily sacrifice and overthrew the place of His sanctuary. 12And in the rebellion,a the host and the daily sacrifice were given over to the horn, and it flung truth to the ground and prospered in whatever it did."
Satan is said in the Bible to disguise himself as an angel of Light, i quote :
      2 Corinthians 11 : 14
"And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light."
Like Miquella, a charmer in an aura of unalloyed Gold who warn us that he had disposed himself of 'his love' in the person of St Trina who i claim is in fact the greater will betrayed..
Revealing Miquella's closeness to the archetype of Love.
Miquella is like the greek God of Desire, Eros who is not necessarily the concept of Love as it is St Trina playing this role in Elden Ring actually..
Eros is often portrayed as a never-aging child, always young, mischievous, pushing and playing with the boundaries of the greek gods..
Since Miquella divested himself from Love as being now a God of Desire solely, that means that his Desire is no longer in check by common sense which is 'his' inner voice aka the TRUTH, St Trina.
As the truth flunged onto the ground by the Antichrist Miquella, St Trina warn us the player aka the tarnished of it and plead us to kill Miquella before he let his desire set his and everyone's fate into this ROTTEN cage of hubris for eternity in agony between life and death..
In any case, you don't need to believe in what i say nor understand it but it will be extremely difficult for you to ever grasp the game lore by not adressing this game interpretation of mine, i can guarantee you that.
