  • A share my story about how I managed to turn around a struggling / dying cissus discolor.
Apologies if the sound isn't great, a follow suggested I use a mic and was trying it out this week, not sure if it made it better or worse

I transferred mine to leca last year and it hasn’t been happier. She’s a THIRSTY one

@@karinagarces7642 there was a transition period for me, I also realized she needed much higher humidity in my location. Make sure to be using nutrients in leca.

@Jocilyn Williams she’ll need to acclimate, they also like higher humidity and bright light. Don’t forget to use nutrients with the leca

I got two small starter cuttings and it started putting out lots of leaves and vines, but now the older leaves have started bleaching out to a pale yellow color. I’m afraid it’s overwatered but I keep hearing about how thirsty they are.

I may have rushed planting my cutting. It's starting to wilt should I put it back in water??

I have a mature-ish plant that I bought on a trellis. I had wanted it as a hanging plant so very carefully took it off the trellis. When I did this I realized how bare it is on the top of the plant. Is there any way of encouraging new vine growth? I have tried propagating by clippings with no luck.

Spiral a vine around the top, clip it in gentlt with garden wire or bobby pins and it will root

@@emeliaharrison8397 I'll give it a try! I've done this with Pothos with great success, but just wasn't sure if it would work with this plant.

I've been after one of these for ages and I can't find one. Maybe try layer that one, it looks like a plant that would work well for. BTW the light is fine but the sound is a bit tinny. Can hear you fine, just a little tinny, obviously because of the room.

@@harmalalkaloid Thank you. Only I'm in Ireland and GB can't send plants or seeds outside since Brexit. I used to buy lots from GB, loved the ginger jungle but that day is gone.
