I just dont get why/how underrated this chanel is. I already watched your Saints Row Retrospective and now im here watching another video. Keep up the good work!
Cin Drallig is such a beast in this game. I'm fully convinced that Anakin saved the Emperor's life by taking him down. No amount of clones can stop that man, and I'm sure if Mace Windu gave Palpatine trouble, then Cin Drallig would've annihilated him. Also, it was nice to see Grievous be as strong as his 2003 animated counterpart, as many who saw the film were disappointed at how quick his duel with Kenobi ends.
Getting into Star Wars in mid-nineties, I remember getting this game before seeing the movie and watching all those alternative scenes and basically seeing the whole plot play out in a videogame weeks before seeing the actual movie in cinema. Good times.
Dude!!! I wish I could've experienced the prequels like you did. I was only like 4 y/o when ROTS came out. It would have been nice to have experienced the hype around them.
I'd say the game does things better than the film. Anakin's raid on the temple, his duels with Mace Windu, Cin Drallig, and Serra Keto, his rampage against the last of the Separatists, it was great. Kenobi's men turning on him and him having to raid the temple, only to meet the assassins Anakin left behind on the beacon room, were also great. They were big improvements over the film's treatment of such events, which just glossed over that stuff. I think the only thing the film has over the game is that we got to see Yoda fight the Emperor.
Your videos are very nice. I'm rooting for your happiness and success. The Revenge of the Sith game is pretty great. Glad to see it getting it's fair share of love and you do a good job of communicating the key factors that make it stand out. Maybe I wouldn't classify it as "the best Star Wars" game, but I would argue it may be "the best Jedi" game, at the very least for it's time. It's got a lot going for it and it's sad that this dev team couldn't get more time or another project to evolve their software and continue with the creative momentum. It's also unfortunate that it had to be an Episode 3 game because I'd much rather see a featured story about Mace Windu or Kyle Katarn or some another interesting Jedi. But I still love the selection for playable characters and alternate costumes. Before this game, there was Jedi Power Battles, and I've always wondered if there was any relation or influence between the two, because Revenge of the Sith felt like a spiritual successor, if that makes any sense. Personally, I think my favorite Jedi Star Wars game has to be... Soulcalibur 4. Special shoutout to Star Gladiator 2 for being a fun crazy anime Star Wars fighting game.
Thank you so much man!!! You Hagen I idea how much that means to me dude. I never thought to look into the studio that actually mad the game because you’re right, it would’ve been nice to have seen more combat like ROTS in other video games. You also make a pretty good point of utilizing this combat system for other Star Wars characters. That would’ve been nice to see
Dude you must check out the novelization of episode 3 grievous is such a badass general literally darth vaders antithesis not to say Vader is a bad general at all

Thank you!!! That means a lot. The grind is real but we can only go up from here!
Exactly what I did too lmao
Such a classic and Lego star wars was a hugely impactful game for me. Obi-Wan is a pretty cool overlooked game.
Also fun fact: Anakin in movie canon does defeat Cin Drallig adding to the reason why his skills at ROTS is unparalleled
What a great video man. Loved this game growing up too
Glad you enjoyed the video! This was one of my favorites as a kid too!!

A great SW fighting game, and a great SW action/adventure game. What more can you ask for?
Only 4 subs, how?
