It is said that he was supposed to kill his wife, not because it was his choice but because this is what his mission was. He is the angel of death. But he ended up falling in love with Matil. But Matil ended up dying in the end.
@@dianaosazenaye1313 there's a theory that his past love looked like Nina but again just a theory. I do feel a little bad for him. But I don't think God punished him because he fell in love with human. He was punished because he was maybe a bit selfish and did something to make the God angry on purpose. Also, if you remember in episode 5. The priest says the director guy mixed love with inspiration. Dan, on the other hand is complete opposite of the director. He is caring, kind, and, nice towards others. Though there are times where acts childlike (due to dying at such a young age), he is a good angel that cares for others. The director is pushing Yeonseo too much. She is not matil. Matil was a completely different person. She was the opposite of yeonseo. Matil had a free energy, kind of like Dan. YeonSeo is much more serious and has become cold due to past experiences. Although I see where the director is coming from, I think he should have some boundaries. I'm glad that he wants to put her back on right path, which is great and she needs it but I hope he doesnt treat her like she is matil.
