You will have an excellent time exploring the F-Roads! Yes you can drive in a convoy, just make sure you review all of Iceland off-road laws and you’ll be set for a great adventure!
@@adventuredog_overland thanks I meant can a convoy be curated while in Iceland with like minded overlander to manage risk. Eg a local Overlanding group if you heard one
@@mikekay213 I did attempt to reach out to local overlanders prior to my trip through instagram, tho I had no luck with getting replies. That being said I did run into a few out on the F-Roads themselves! Knowing what I know now, if I had more time as I took this trip on a spur of the moment, lots of people travel from the UK to Iceland for overlanding! If you have some freedom on dates for travel, I’d suggest reaching out to some European groups and seeing which ones would be heading to Iceland. I hope this helps!
On what day did you drive F232? By the time I was there in early September the exit to the river crossing over the waterfall was severely torn up, and my camper van wasn't able to make it up. Had to back up through the river and turn around.
@@BaseDrifterAbroad I was in Iceland mid September! I’m sorry to hear when you went you had to turn around! I hope you got to explore other areas in exchange!
Those F-Roads look amazing bringing you to epic locations. What a fun trip!!!
@@OverlandAlberta this episode for me shows one of the biggest highlights of this adventure! 🏔️😁
That all looks pretty amazing. Almost like another world 🌎
@@shawn3144 it’s a very unique place! As I went farther I would guess what planet the landscape would be similar to lol!
I can't believe how much you did in only 3 days!!
@@soulsearchmedia driven by a passion to explore! 😁🏔️ still 4 more days to share with everyone! Stay tuned and thank you for watching!
Great Video, Planning to do F roads next year. As an overlander curious if you can go in a convoy for getting stuck there will be tough.
