I drive a 2006 CL9 6spd manual, 7.2sec 0-100, own from brand new until now. Its an awesome car, powerful for its class back in the time, now is nothing.
Look up Honda part #21200-rap-000, (the 03-07 USDM Accord 2.4 5 speed manual case, same case as the Euro-R 6 speed Accords) and the clutch case from USDM Accord 2.4 5 speed manual is the same as well, just all aluminum, not the like TSX or CL9 Accords, which are aluminum/magnesium. Honda clutch case part #21000-RAP-315...Just swap over the 6 speed guts from an SI/RSX and you have a ''Euro-R tranny that will drop in all 04-08 TSX's. I am building an all aluminum case for my backup for my 06 TSX, essentially the exact same tranny as the CL7, no difference, same case, clutch case as well...KEEP THESE GEMS ON THE ROAD PEOPLE !!!! again not trying to copy/paste just want the word out!!!-455 am EDT,6/5/2023 LOL
Released in 2002, that makes the CL7 platform 20 years old today. I think the CL7 is one of the few best looking cars to come out of the 00's that still looks pretty modern till today. I remember a couple of years back the CL7R was overshadowed by the FD2R and you could get one for a pretty decent price. Unfortunately recently values and demand for these older Hondas have grown and the CL7R, EK4 SIRs are asking for over 10k depre.
I’m trying to get a daily first car CL7 and debating if I should get a 145k km vs 100k km mileage car in which the 100k km mileage car cost $30k HKD more . Not sure if I should stick to the high mileage one as it will depreciate less anyways and not worth it for the added money for 45k km more mileage. What do you think? The 100k of course looks better with some mugen parts and 145k has a Js racing exhaust.

i-VTEC in these is just proper 3-lobe VTEC cams + Variable Cam Timing so still proper VTEC
