Just discovered your channel and watched a few of your videos, a lot of great content on here. I farm in the U.S. and its always interesting to see how its done in other places and different crops I havent heard of. Love your videos so far, you have an American subscriber now lol
ive got a milk mixer it good for about10 calvesit mixes the milk tells you how much milk dose calves need and it keeps it warm, it only costs around £150
Interesting video. Just want to know it is okay to feed the cows sugar beet with all the dirt on it. I am not a farmer so just curious about it. Thanks
I bought it off eBay a while back, and for some reason it’s not on there now, it’s called ‘tractor suction mount’ along those lines, thanks glad your enjoying the vids 🙏
Do you know the difference between fodder beet and sugar beet? If you do why do you title the video sugar beet and not fodder beet? Feeding sugar beet can give serious problems.

Another great video. Didn't realise fodder beet tops were toxic. Good tip with wilting them. Be shame to waste them when sheep could eat them

All you need to mix your milk is a mixer bit for your drill, you can get them in any good hardware shop
Yes I did look into a drill bit, but because I’m looking to have more calf’s in the future, I’m willing to invest in a mixer ;)

Ollie usually if the milk is not mixing great it cause the water is cold calves will always do better on hot milk

You can better use a self propelled feeder/mixer 10times faster , we did 80tons in an hour 😉

The Feeder bucket doesn’t mix food, it just crushes the fodder beet ;)
