I know this wasn’t planned Aqualung but this Tecmo Tuesday game was released on my birthday! It was so exciting to see this and I have been looking forward to this for months so thank you! 🙂
I'm wondering if this ROM was made before the 2008 season was even played. The Lions started Daunte Culpepper and Dan Orlovsky at different times during the season but they aren't here, Brian Calhoun was on IR the whole year, Tatum Bell was released for Rudi Johnson before the season, and so was Artose Pinner.
You forgot the volume Aqua, lol the game is muted. surprised i'm the only one who mentioned that in comments. Anyways glad this series is back, this game was ironically very realistic to what would happen if the Lions actually played the Falcons this year, they're having a very good season, i hope they can keep it going, guaranteed Detroit will at least make the playoffs this year.
My favorite Jamarcus Russell story is that Matt Millen actually warned Al Davis not to draft him, after throwing him out of an interview for not paying attention. Head coach Lane Kiffin wanted Calvin Johnson. But Al had lost his touch years ago.
Even the Tecmo Super Bowl AI knows to call a time out when the ending of the half is near. Dan Orlovsky sucked as a quarterback and sucks as an analyst. No football team has offered him any kind of coaching job. I suppose that it’s a blessing that he’s not in this romhack.
