This is very useful. What about the normal maps, where do you place them because the slot for bump maps in CC3 is used also for normals, How do you import both, I would like to add the bump maps for smoth displacements and the normal map for finer displacement like skin texture.
Reallusion should really do a CC3 upgrade and integrate these features direct on transformer. It was OK if we need to do these modifications once on a generic INI file like the DAZ file, but you need to do for every different character. That`s very impractical!
Agreed wholeheartedly. Manual line editing is obsolete. The INI files need an add-on to pull in all the necessary maps. Otherwise, you might spend hours trying to put in the necessary pathways for multiple characters, while making human errors of your own. Why do that?
It honestly feels like a Rip off that you get CC3 to AVOID needing 3dExchange... and now you NEED 3dExchange or making INI edits manually for something the software itself should do. At the cost of CC3 - that should be fixed by @reallusion honestly.
You don't need 3dEx at all. He used 3dX as an easy way to find the base texture folder, but it's very easy to find the source texture folders through DAZ.
вообще то что модели daz нельзя менять лицо в head shop и анимировать разговор и мимику лица из-за этого теряется весь смысл импорта моделей daz в вашу программу потому что анимировать тела можно даже лучше и в самом daz !
Thank You! That really helps!
well that helps a lot thanks for that tutorial now i am really able to get all the textures in my Daz avatars

Can CC3 be configured to work the DAZ texture atlas?
Well that was complicated.

Nice tutorial but there is not step by step series , make the complete tutorial
This is very best software but training should be for beginners to start fresh animation training.
Character creator is a character creation program, Reallusion has an animation program called IClone with a lot of tutorials for animation.
