Mmm.....now we should call this game "Bug deception": Teleports without teleports (no tricks, no powers, only magic), broken enemies and other technical problems. I think it's kinda cursed that in game wich must force you to use magic powers, you can win by using only powers of your legs.
Would you consider trying Torment Therapy no ability no map challenge 0 death (exclude boss fight)? For my attempt, I only did 0 death with only speed boost and teleportation, which is possible But for you, I think you are capable of trying this challenge in a stealthy way 😹 For Zone 1, you can try to not alert any reaper nurse, try to use doors to lure them For Zone 2, you need to exit the entrance part asap and collect those shards afterwards, otherwise there will be 2 reaper nurse walking toward the entrance if you collect the first few shards Look forward to more challenges from you, keep up the good work😺
Thanks for your support! And yes, I will definitely consider Torment Therapy! 🙂 I have gave Torment Therapy a few attempts, but I haven't fully developed a plan yet. Bearly Buried and Stranger Sewers have my attention at the moment (Monkey Business has already been done and is currently being edited, so that's something to look forward to ✨). 0 deaths with just Speed Boost and Teleportation is incredible! How did you resist the urge to use Telekinesis? 😆 I agree with your points, and I am considering playing stealthily. But I will still need to use Teleport to get onto each of the ambulances between each zone, and also to get past the Matron undetected at the start of Zone 2. I might also need to use a power right at the very end of the level to get past the Reaper Nurses there. It doesn't seem too bad when I think about it, but I guess we will see. 👍 UPDATE: I've gave it some more attempts now, and Zone 1 is a nightmare without powers! There are some extremely long corridors in Zone 1 and the nurses can spot you quite easily. I'm having doubts about this one now. 😥
@@Capivaragamer0907 I haven't given up just yet. I will return back to Torment Therapy eventually. 🙂 For now, I'm taking a bit of a break after beating Bearly Buried.

Thank you, it means a lot. 🙂 You're right actually, the Reaper Nurses are considerably faster (unless they use their pill attack). When I made this video, I never really looked into the details of what their speed difference was. I just know that they can both outrun the player, unlike most other enemies in Dark Deception. I'm glad Agatha doesn't have roller-skates... 😆

@@simplyvarun3111 That's mostly correct, except a few things. The Gold Watchers outrun normal running speed, but when they're far away, their speed increases even more, possibly making them as fast as an aggroed Trigger Teddy! Actually, on second thought, probably not as fast as that. 😆 Dread Duckies don't outrun normal running speed. They match it. And yes, I said "running", not "walking". They are very fast enemies now. Hangry doesn't outrun normal running speed. I think you might have meant "walking" and not "running". I'm basing this all off from Normal mode by the way.
That's a bit of a long story, but I'll do my best to explain... It started with Crazy Carnevil because at the time of recording, that was the last and most difficult level in the game so far and nobody had beaten the challenge on that level yet. Therefore I decided to take it into my own hands and beat it for myself. That's what lead me into creating this channel in the first place. 🙂 Afterwards, Chapter 4 released, and I wanted to do the same challenge again but on Mascot Mayhem because it was the easiest (and most popular) level compared to the 2 others in that chapter. After that, I was thinking about doing Bearly Buried next because I assumed Torment Therapy was going to be impossible. But I knew it was going to take a very long time before I'd finally be able to conquer the challenge for Bearly Buried, so I decided to make videos on all the past levels to act as filler in the meantime. It was something I wanted to do anyway for completion sake. I started with Elementary Evil because that was the easiest level out of all the past ones, and then I did Deadly Decadence. However, I later decided to scrap the Elementary Evil video I made, so my Deadly Decadence video was uploaded first instead. Shortly afterwards, I re-did the Elementary Evil tabletless challenge. Then it was Monkey Business, and lastly it was Stranger Sewers because those were more difficult. After completing the challenge on all past levels, I managed to beat Bearly Buried, and with no other levels left, I tried out Torment Therapy, and eventually managed to beat that as well. So... yeah, that's why my videos have been uploaded out of order. 🙂
@@sharkfan2 so let me get this straight you went out of order because you wanted to get the hard ones out of the way and you started this challenge before chapter 4 and DD Enhanced so you started with crazy carnevil because that was the hardest level at the time especially in the 2nd zone so u wanted to get the hard ones out of the way basically I see welp thanks for explaining edit: oh and no one had done cc yet so you wanted to do that challenge on that level first
@@dust_error0101 Kinda... but I didn't do the hard ones (i.e. Crazy Carnevil and Mascot Mayhem) first to "get them out of the way". I did those to essentially blow peoples' minds and prove to the community that they were indeed possible to S-Rank without powers. It's more fitting that I did the easier levels to get those out of the way. I hope that makes sense.
StrangerSewer's no power challenge is not easy because of the time limit and random spawn of duckies.I'm really interested in your strategy to finish it.(If you can finish this challeng without using the secret place to trap the patrol duck, that will be really amazing!)
For the bossfight is there a better way to get rid of the portals because I found myself dying to the invisible portals three times in a row. The first two were conviently after the bossfight because as soon as I beat the boss and skipped the cutscene the invisible portal goes off with no time to react to it. The third time was during the boss fight. I personally find it somewhat risky to try and trigger the portals from personal experience. I'm asking because if it wasn't for this bug I would've S ranked Agathas level multiple times in a row by now😭
Yeah... it's a very painful and annoying bug. I'm not even sure if the method I described in this video is even an effective way of avoiding the bug anymore. I'm considering making a new video that covers the EE boss fight specifically which explains how it works and what you can to do avoid the bug. I think something like that would be really helpful. I've got a couple other videos that I'm prioritising right now though, but that could change.
I lost count of how many times I died, but if I had to guess, I would say it was around 20 times, which is not very impressive for a level as easy as this one. 😅 I think I just kept getting careless and running straight into her.
It should be space bar to toggle the tablet. If that's not working and your space bar works outside of the game, then I'm not completely sure what the problem is. It could be related to why your P button isn't working for the boss teleportation bug as you mentioned in another comment. I'm thinking it could be because you're using a non-English keyboard since I've heard about a similar problem before, but I don't know if this is true or not.
Every time I play Elementary Evil, my game always crashes when I get back to the auditorium after getting the ring piece. Does anybody have any suggestions on how to fix this?
The auditorium is the most performance intensive part of the level, and I think it's because of all the chairs. I noticed my PC lags a lot when I look at them, which is why at the start of this video you can actually see me trying to look away from them. I'm guessing the lag is what's causing your game to crash. Maybe you could try lowering your quality and resolution settings down all the way, and once you enter the auditorium, don't look at the chairs and just look straight up or down. If that doesn't work, you may need a stronger computer.
In my opinion, I think these sorts of small glitches/exploits are acceptable because it doesn't break the game in any significant way, and allows for an inventive solution to avoid using powers which would otherwise be impossible to do without. However, I did actually make another video where I don't use that exploit. A link is in the description.
