What a great tourney. Unfortunate TL couldn't show up at all for the last game, but man am I glad to see the entirety of the West really show this tourney. G2 is a beast I haven't seen since the one TSM, and this one does not show any signs of choking at all (keep them away from the wildcard at least). TL breaking many of NAs past struggles and doing far into the impossible. Great looks from the West, I can only hope they bring it to worlds and we truly see this gab between East and West fall all together. Proud NA fan, very proud West fan.

@@badocean1078 Same feeling we (EU) had last worlds finals when it was Fnatic vs IG. Personally and I think a lot of other people were expecting Fnatic to beat IG. I know reckless was saying he felt super confident going in (a little biased i know). However when finals rolled round we lost all our games like NA did in MSI finals and got 3-0'd. Just unfortunate in both cases, it's always fun to see both teams playing a close game in game 5. :)

SKT is still shining. It is still everyone's dream to achieve what SKT achieved. Faker said it himself. Beating him won't make you a LEGEND. To be a LEGEND, you need to beat someone like him many times and remain at the top spot. Being a LEGEND is not just a one time victory. It is not just because your play style is appropriate with the meta. It is being able to maintain on the top spot no matter who challenges for the throne. SKT will bring home the glory back to where it should belong.
It's about playing mechanism of each team, PVB's playing mechanism can beat G2's, G2's playing mechanism can beat the others' and the others' playing mechanism can beat PVB. It's like paper, rock and scissors. You don't compare teams by comparing how many times they lost or won with the others but you compare teams by their playing styles. (In my opinion)
As an Na fan, I’ll happily admit eu > na, but for this years its west > east, lets just hope this is the start of the west actually acting up at international events
This MSI's G2 were as dominant of a team as Samsung White was in 2014 at Worlds. That's how much of a powerhouse they were. To be compared to 2014 SSW is saying something.

Nope, msi is a different tournament. The teams that are eliminated at msi are still teams that can play in Worlds. English isnt my first language im sorry but its more like this. Spring split (champions in each region proceeda to msi) -> msi -> summersplit (top 3 teams in each region proceeds to worlds) -> Worlds
