@@MrKC23 I mean to ask which one. Israel was divided into two kingdoms, Northern and Southern, Israel and Judah. God promised in Ezekiel 37 to bring both peoples back to the Land of Israel, and to reunite the divided kingdom, so that it will be a united kingdom forever, under the rule of a king who will sit on David's throne. Have you read Jeremiah 31, Ezekiel 36 and 37? These are real people and places, with real histories. How do you see yourself fitting in to those promises?

@weiyishen well the key is understand how the NT authors read the OT, & how THEY interpreted it.
E.g. how did Jesus, Paul, Peter interpret the OT.
you mention Throne of David. Who is the Descendant of David?
      Jesus
      Romans 1:3 CSB
[3] concerning his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord, who was a descendant of David according to the flesh
Who are the subjects in Jesus’s kingdom?
      The Church, Jew and Gentile
      1 Peter 2:9 CSB
[9] But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a HOLY NATION, a PEOPLE for his POSSESSION, so that you may proclaim the praises of the one who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.
Now notice that Peter has read Exodus, and is reinterpreting OT verses where God is clearly addressing OT Israel, and Peter is applying it to the NT Church , therefore the NT Church is the Spiritual Israel, the Kingdom of the greater David, Jesus Christ
And the Church is the Temple of God, with the greater High Priest and Final Sacrificial Lamb, Christ Jesus
while Moses went up to God. The LORD called to him out of the mountain, saying, "Thus you shall SAY to the HOUSE of JACOB, and tell the PEOPLE of ISRAEL: (Exodus 19:3, ESV)
      5 Now therefore, IF you will indeed OBEY my voice and keep my COVENANT, you shall be my treasured possession among all peoples, for all the earth is mine;
6 and you shall be to me a KINGDOM of PRIESTS and a HOLY NATION.' These are the words that you shall speak to the PEOPLE of ISRAEL." (Exodus 19:5-6, ESV)
let me ask you a question:
Who is this verse referring to? Ethnic OT Israel, or to Jesus Christ?
1 Listen to me, O coastlands, and give attention, you peoples from afar. The LORD called me from the womb, from the body of my mother he named my name.
2 He made my MOUTH like a SHARP SWORD; in the shadow of his hand he hid me; he made me a polished arrow; in his quiver he hid me away.
3 And he said to me, "You are my SERVANT, ISRAEL, in whom I will be glorified." (Isaiah 49:1-3, ESV. See Rev 1.16)
Also, who were the first Christians?
Adam and Eve, Abraham, Abel, Enoch, David, Jeremiah etc
For there is One God, One Savior, One People, One Gospel, One Faith
Google Kim Riddlebarger on spiritual Israel, eschatology, covenant theology vs Dispensationalism, does the NT allegorize the OT ,
The Holy Scripture, OT & NT, is Christ focused, not ethnic Israel focused

Wrong. This guy is setting you all up for failure. The 12 tribes are all negro. The Northern Kingdom , currently in Africa, is the crew that will grafted back in. The Southern Kingdom or the Jews is scattered to the 4 corners. Judah, Benjamin and Levi. The Gentiles of the New Testament are not other nations. Gotta read the chapter for context. Paul went to find; the Northern Kingdom. (Greeks) The northern kingdom was carried away in 722bc. So when Yahusha came, HE was in the land with the Southern Kingdom or Jews. Israel or the Northern kingdom, was primarily gone. The Covenant is only for the Israelites: Jeremiah 31:31-34 and Hebrews 8:8-10. The Promises are only for the Israelites Romans 9:4. Everything is. Psalms 147:19-20. The only thing other nations can do is cleave to Us. That’s it. So it says in Isaiah 14:1-2. None of you will replace Us Israelites correct, but you folks aren’t Israel. Try reading scripture. Once Yahusha comes, the Curses listed in scripture will come off of Us, and then be placed on all the nations that hated Us. Deuteronomy 30:7. Once on, they don’t come off. Eternal servitude is what is in store for all nations. Jeremiah 30:16 and Rev 13:10. As Yahusha stated, if you suffer like me, you will reign with me. Sorry, but only His people fit that bill. The descendants of the trans Atlantic slave trades are the Hebrew Israelites. No one knows the Bible better than the Israelites. It’s Our history book.

We are talking about this at a church Bible study. Fascinating topic. Found some of my own long-held beliefs, relatively vague, on the topic challenged by scripture - which is good, of course. But... I still think we try to know too much. God knows who they are; isn’t that what matters? 🤷🏻‍♀️ Kills me when Christians try to be dogmatic about stuff only God can mark out definitively - like when people talk about “true” Christians and what they do or don’t look like (vote for, which denomination they attend, etc): judging again by appearances.
I know I know, there are times we can see fruit or have discernment by the HS, times it is clear, but still...
Still, it is a miracle the state of Israel is even on the map today; there has to be something up with that on the spiritual level.
Glad you’re here. Someone needs to talk sense on the Tube. ✝️ God bless u.

"True Israel" is not a term found in the Bible. Not all Israel is Israel, true, but one could just as easily say not all Christians are Christians, Mat 7:21 Israel is a nation of the twelve tribes of Israel, and only God knows who is true: 2Ch 15:3 Now for a long season Israel hath been without the true God, and without a teaching priest, and without law.
2Ch 15:4 But when they in their trouble did turn unto the LORD God of Israel, and sought him, he was found of them.

The NT and Paul use words more than one way. Such is the case with the vocabulary word Israel. The meaning for Israel in a given verse is determined by the context. Proof? Read Roman's 11 substitution "the Church" for every non and pronoun and you will learn that Paul speaks of Israel the nation when he says, "All Israel will be saved. " Take the challenge?

As a believer in the biblical Christ, over the years I’ve heard countless pastoral explanations about this scripture .
    It is confusing!
After God explains all the previous chapters in full details, He ends by saying “all Israel will be saved.”
Then He qualifies it further. Let’s just read it.
26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:
27 For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.
    KJV.
So when we say “God didn’t say…”
    Well, yes He did.
If we say that “God didn’t mean..”
Then that leaves room for respectful debate before God.
    “God didn’t say” means…
    The translation is incorrect.
Romans 26 was planted by man.
Or Romans 26 is a lie.
    Because God never said it.
    Which is it?
My point is that we can’t lean to our own understanding and make bold statements to the contrary of what is actually written.
If God didn’t say Romans 26 then what else did He “not say?”

The nation of Israel we see today is not the Israel of God written about in Galatians 6:15-16, which says, For in Christ
Jesus neither circumcision availeth anything, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature. And as many as walk according to
this rule, peace be on them, and mercy, and upon the Israel of God.
Compare These Verses of Scripture from the Old Testament and the New Testament.
In the Old Testament in Exodus 19:5-6, God told Moses to say unto the children of Israel, Now therefore, if ye will obey
my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is
mine: And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests and an holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel.
We know that later on God rejected OT Israel for not keeping his covenant and
when Jesus came he said to the rulers of the nation of Israel in Matthew 21:43. Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of
God shall be taken from you, and given to a NATION bringing forth the fruits thereof. What other nation was Jesus
    talking about?
in the New Testament Peter while writing to Christians in 1st Peter 2:9-10 wrote.
But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a HOLY NATION, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the
praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light: Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.
Is not this the same promise that was given to Old Testament Israel? The nation of Israel we see today is not the Israel
of God, Those who are in Jesus Christ are. It is written in Galatians 3:16, Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises
made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ. If you are in Christ, you are the Israel of God.

Balaam was not a Jew and would not speak against the Israelites yet he had the authority to speak as a prophet, today there are prophets who have had true theophanies and glorious revelations, who would never deny Israel's right in fact they would endorse Israel and the people in Israel as the *Children of God* Christians are envious of Jewish salvation, thinking that Jews have to convert to Christianity but they don't, Christianity came about because one enlightened man and the generation he grew up in knew they had to expand the ability of God to create *a superhighway for souls* that the Children of God would come to God in the arms of *KINGS who would be their foster fathers, and Queen's who would be their Nursing mothers* as recorded in Isaiah 49, which also records Israel as *You are my servant Israel in whom I shall be Glorified*
The new Testament states that Jesus Christ identified Elijah in John the Baptist and John the Baptist identified Israel redivivus in Jesus (the lamb of God) where he said _John answered them, “I baptize with water; but among you stands one whom you do not know, 27 _*_even he who comes after me, the thong of whose sandal I am not worthy to untie.” 28_*_ This took place in Bethany_
John the Baptist therefore states that he recognised Jesus as Israel when he was present in Elijah, even though Israel lived 1200 years before him, as confirmed by Isaiah salvation of the Jews is *The preserved of Jacob are redeemed in Israel*
The Old Testament provides reincarnation as a mean of Redemption.
    _Zechariah 13:9
And I will put this third into the fire, and refine them as one refines silver, and test them as gold is tested. They will call on my name, and I will answer them. I will say, ‘They are my people’; and they will _
The New Testament also states that a person has opportunities to be reborn *but a time comes when they can no longer die anymore, but must become children of God* celestial beings and then be judged.
As Christians they must have the Jewish spiritual blood for transformation which Jesus Christ gives.
    Luke 20:36
_36 for they cannot die any more, because they are equal to angels and are sons of God, being sons of the resurrection._
The following text of Luke (37) confirms the salvation which the Jews enjoyed from Moses.
The New Testament was written by dedicated Jews who were including the family if Abraham in the lineage of Jesus but they also revered King David as Jesus ancestry and the Christian Church has avoided any belief in reincarnation as a pathway to Resurrection and Ascension because to understand that subject in the light of Scripture brings the believer directly ti the knowledge that Jesus and (Jacob) are Israel.
Judgement for an Israelite and a Christian are the same they must stand before the Divine Word of God and hear his testimony of salvation which is Revelation, jesus does not take part in Judgement nor does Almighty God, because a person could not bear it.
    *Jesus Christ does not Judge*
    John 8:15
_You judge according to the flesh, I judge no one._
    John 8:50
_Yet I do not seek my own glory; there is One who seeks it and he will be the judge._
    John 12:47
_If any one hears my sayings and does not keep them, I do not judge him; for I did not come to judge the world but to save the world._
    John 5:221-23
_21 For as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, so also the Son gives life to whom he will. 22 _*_The Father judges no one, but has given all judgment to the Son, 23 that all may honour the Son,_*_ even as they honour the Father. He who does not honour the Son does not honour the Father who sent him._
It is a great honour to be judged and confirms that we have had multiple opportunities for rebirth but we are now at *the end of the world* in the presence of a personage of overwhelming purity a purity that confirms in us how far removed we are from Him who has to deal with us. Like Job He asks *who are you to stand before me* and *are you great? Only the great can pass me by*
This can happen in this life or after it.
After a length of time in which you are left with the wrath of God on you, you may be allowed to see God the Father but you see him in Jesus Christ You see the glory of God in Him, this is called the *Beatific Vision.* This can cause concern in the soul, because the Christian religion states that Jesus is the Judge this is not true, but he can *pray the spirit for us* the Son who is the Spirit of Truth and Divine Word manifests himself as a *Glittering great two edged Sword* this is not Jesus but Jesus Christ in the Beatific Vision is ALSO Israel.
    Judgement is a non-trinitarian event

Paul did not reject Judaism, see Romans 3:1-4 and contrast Romans 2:1-2
The same Spirit given to Jews is given to Christians and that lineage we have through being _grafted in_ was through one Jewish man.
The Church is One Body in which Christ is it's head, but Christians and Jews have to face an epic decision as to the person of Jesus and Israel (Jacob) being the same person otherwise they cannot claim Isaiah 53 is about Jesus unless reincarnation is understood by both adherents, Isaiah 53 is about Israel (Singular) Isaiah 49:3 is about Israel (Singular)
Argue all you like about this unless both sides realise that It is the promise to Abraham that glorifies God, as well as the Davidic dimension.
Can people put aside spiritual pride and see the continuity that the Bible states.

Jacob is Israel. Abraham is not Israel. We are both descendants of Abraham Jew and gentile. Just like believers now are not all true believers as Jesus spoke of wheat and tares. Same with natural Israel. Some are children of Abraham and the promise and some are not. But to claim all these OT prophecies about the restoration of the 12 tribes with the Lord reigning in their midst, are just about the church is doing a huge injustice to the scriptures.
The end of Romans 11 plainly states a partial hardening has come upon Israel till Jesus comes again to banish the ungodliness from them. Why is it still separating a time of the gentiles and this partially hardened Israel if we were Israel?
And your Galatians quote is plain wrong. He wouldn’t have included the “AND” if he was calling the church the Israel of God.
“And as for all who walk by this rule, peace and mercy be upon THEM, AND upon the ISRAEL of God.”
    ‭‭Galatians‬ ‭6‬:‭16‬ ‭

"He says (to the church) 'you are the True Israel.'" Lies. Read Galatians 6 for yourself. This is bear assertion. The most natural way to read 6:16 is 2 groups joined by the Greek conjunction kai (and).
Even if everything else you said was 100% correct (it isn't), how can you claim that you are more Jewish than a messianic Jew? That is a Jew by decent who also believes Jesus (Yeshua) is the Messiah. The messianic Jew lives keeping the same commandments Jesus did. You, as a Gentile, do not. A statement like you made is more obviously wrong than the theory of a flat earth.

By the time you finish applying the hermeneutic cosmetic treatment to the actors and erecticting stage prop rules and dialogue ( via Storm, Moo, Beale ), I would basically say we are left with a "True" & "Non-Ethnological" REMNANT, paltry, small, unsavory, unseasonably, a morsel though it may seem; and certainly a scripture that is even more a vague amorphous deep shadowy escatological ghost than what Paul was actually trying to say.
No scripture uses the word "true" or "ethnos" in conjunction or adjectivally with the noun, Israel," in a reified nature that is now customary with the nature of fascists and the totalitarian.
Paul is speaking in an aleatory and somewhat exasperated hyperbole. You are mistaking this, as many Protestant leaders have done, for a new preternatural set of principals, specifically those listed in Galatians 5:20-21. This list & more is reserved for those who forsake Torah.
As Paul says in Roman's the law &, Prophets have a function in the salvation process. And in Roman's 11 we know the deity is within his rights to change things from the preconceived grafting rules of men. But he does not repent of His gifts. The Tanakh is the lens through which the NT can be discerned. Without it one risks stumbling into the abyss.
"Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away."
    Matthew 24:35

You try too hard Intellectually. Come to Jesus as a child. The Way is simple. John 3, Acts 2, 1 Corinthians 15.

Way way wait. It’s not a spiritual “ Jew” that you become as a believer in Christ (even though I fully understand what you’re saying. But when it comes to scripture. Hairs must be split)….
What you become is a spiritual child of Abraham!!!
Abraham is the model for the Christ believer right?
“ Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him as righteousness?”
I think of how the serpent plays with words.
A little microshift can set a new trajectory.
The teaching of scripture is very old.
We get new understanding but we don’t really get new terms.
Every “new idea” should be a flag for the believer.
We should always compare the conversion in the garden (fail)
With the conversation in the wilderness (pass).
Jesus had loose and metaphoric conversations with the people.
But with the serpent in the wilderness He “kept it 100😂”
    Hard strict scripture!
    No parables no similes .
Let’s be careful and suspect of new ideas!

Jewry consisted of all the tribes by interpretation. Not just the tribe of Judah. Where did you get that? Remember when the Bible said Jesus could no longer walk in Jewry? He could not walk amongst the hebrews at that point.
