Hanoi Rocks was insanely influential band in Asia and also in the US music scene. For example, Guns n' Roses members were massive fans of Hanoi Rocks and they copied a lot from them as tribute. Hanoi Rocks is indeed also often credited to be the main influencer for the birth of Visual Kei movement in Japan

Yeah it is, but this one was his personal favourite. Carnival of Rust is absolutely amazing and worth checking out!

How can you talk about Finnish music without mentioning their biggest band, Nightwish. Check out Ghost Love Score live from Waken 2013 and you will be blown away.

As a Finn it´s really interesting to hear opinions of people outsie of Finland about our music. Too bad that most popular finnish music is usually sung in english
As moderator of Aleksi's Discord channel and as hard core metal head, I can say that this video by Aleksi is just Finpop/Finrock, no metal here... ;) Finnish metal is damn awesome, btw, as is some of the Finnish Rap Music too...
Nightwish - is the tenth. Oh, it is metal genre, that's why not in this video. Nightwish performs goth-influenced symphonic metal with female vocals.
Hanoi Rocks' first album was named Bangkok Shocks, Saigon Shakes, Hanoi Rocks.
Cisse Häkkinen from Hurriganes is the first ever REAL rock star from Finland. May he rest in peace. Also the guitarist, Albert Järvinen, is dead. He died in London, same street than Jimi Hendrix. Cisse was 39 years old when died and Albert wast 40 years old. Rock and roll life is not easy :)

@@mixlllllllEven if tango is basically from Latin America we do have huge tango culture and there is style called "finnish tango". We do also have "tangomarkkinat" which is one of the biggest annual singing competitions in Finland. And those tangos they sing in competition are in finnish (language).

@@mixlllllll Yes it is from South America from the beginning but Finnish tango sounds different developed in their own style. I think it is better.

Hurriganes is from Finland,but you thinking and talking about hurricane that is an American band.

The band name became Hurriganes because English wasn't their strong suit.
@@MaxSujyNorden Yes and they write band name Hurriganes. They first write it like that and leave it becauce it looks stronger. Singer/ drummer mr. Remu Aaltonen (76) is still here with us. He did not speak english first so lyrics are quite fan earlier songs. I was ten when they started so Hurriganes be there all my teen + years. Check out album Roadrunner, it is The Rock.
