    I'm always astonished at how effective good cop/bad cop (or in this case good security/bad security) is with auditors and Charlie. When a cop or security realizes that being a jerk doesn't work, one of their colleagues comes along and gets people to do what they want by acting friendly. This time it was to get Charlie to move behind some arbitrary point. Auditors and Charlie never seem to realize they've had the oldest game in the cops' book played on them.

    the law is specific about filming inside and outside court buildings, the terms " inside the building" and " within the precinct of the court building " are used in the Law which can technically include outside space that is part of the property or part of the building, so in Law you could be arrested for filming outside a court building if you were standing on an area that is within the property line, which is what happened last year to another Auditor called A.B. He got arrested and charged and fined for filming outside a court building, he was not inside, but he was within the property line and he had refused to stop filming and pointing his camera through the glass doors.

    • @tonyb1223
      @tonyb1223 Год назад

      AB ended up being fined for exactly the same thing though he refused more I believe. It isn't hard to look up these things and should be common sense in most cases, even Marti B and his trolls were banned for 5 years from filming at courts with their CBO 😂

  • @eb4661
    @eb4661 Год назад +6

    Auditing Britain, AB, got sentenced, due to filming around a court building. It’s i criminal matter, as “justice” has a higher protection in society, jury members in particular shall not be photographed, named or published. So, their protection stretches outside the building too, “the perimeters”.

    Having worked in the legal profession for many years let me explain a few things. The security guard was “probably” trying to explain where the Court precinct boundary is as it can be anywhere a judge deems it to be. If the security guard had half a brain he would politely explain the “grid” is by convention where it is. If the Court precinct is “the grid” - by filming the other side of it you could be committing Contempt of Court.

    • @SensibleCentrist
      @SensibleCentrist Год назад +1

      Well there has to be significant signage to let people know, otherwise you would have to criminalise every person walking past that has a camera phone in their pocket or people taking selfies etc etc.

    @10:40 technically it could be a criminal offence IF you took a photo/video of a judge, witness or jury member. The Criminal Justice Act 1925, which specifically addresses photography and sketching in court and its PRECINCTS covers this. This law can restrict filming activities in certain circumstances. As you were in the precinct of the court they could potentially argue this. Saying all that the first security guard acted like a neanderthal.
