Drag Race has given me something to look forward to. As a disabled senior and more isolated than I would like to be, Drag Race and all these silly, weird and so, so talented artists have rarely given me more than a week without a fresh episode from somewhere in the world. Got me thru the illness and death of my only child, thru covid and now thru homelessness (I'm gratefully camping in a sister's spare room and on month 22 of a 12-18 month waiting list for senior/disabled housing that cannot cost me more than 30% of my income so no rent increase will put me on the street again with zero available housing. Would not believe how dire it is here in Oregon if I had not experienced it myself. Only Hawaii has more homeless. I'm as stable as Mt Rushmore and never EVER thought this could happen to me when a new owner bought my rental). I'm terrified about this insanity shutting down our tv access to drag. It gives me a reason to keep on going thru layers of pain. I completely forget my miseries for a while. Because nobody leaves a drag show unhappy. It's a rule.
My love and best wishes to all the lively creatives on the planet. I live vicariously thru you.
Hope you get approved for housing very soon! Sorry to hear about your only child, as a parent I cannot imagine how that feels. So very sorry. Last year was rough on my family and finances are strained more than ever. Like yourself, Drag Race takes me away from the depression and madness of life for a moment.

I truly do not think the producers care because it makes people more excited for the season, and entertains the drama. Being vague in response to every question every season is not exciting.

Judging by these comments, Onya was actually incredibly smart during this interview. A lot of the comments are talking about her and i know she said "she couldn't get a word in" but something tells me that she's going to be a strong competitor. More of a silent assassin type.

Okay!! Loving Acacia here!! I don't ever really care about placements because soooooo many people who didn't win have been extremely successful after and I am excited to see what these girls do with their new platform. I want to see more of just about everyone IRL!
