Great explanation on the first part of the video before going into your recommendations! I wish I knew all that more than 2 decades ago so I didn’t end up spending so much money on the wrong products for my face 😢
This is such a good video. I’m an alastin girl, so skin restorative and ultra nourishing moisturizer have changed my skin. I wish I could get into Skinbetter but I don’t notice a difference and the price is twice as much.
Me too!! I think it depends where you live. If you live in a humid state, it’s great for your skin but if you live in cold dry areas, it dries you out.
I had a chance to try the Alastin brand, its fantastic. I would say that the difference between this brand and less expensive brands is the difference between, driving a Rolle Royce vs. Cadillac. Both have engines, tires and windows, however one does not break, provides a smooth ride, and comes with an excellent maintenance in a case of a problem ( even minor) and the other is a car to get you from place A to place B, ever with the Star system.
I have been using AOX and power defense for several months now. I think the aox leaves a beautiful glow and I love the way my skin feels. I do aox in the morning and power defense at night! My skin has never looked better 😊
Can you please make a video on the Photozyme DNA Youth Repair Serum? I’m 20 and I know I have a lot of sun damage. I’m constantly wearing sunscreen everyday, but this product claims it’s supposed to repair DNA damage at night. I just wanted to know if it would be worth the splurge.
Doc. What do you think about substituting zo daily power defense for skibetter advanced alto. I use GSR daily but I think skinbetter alto advanced would be a great replacement for daily power defense as they both target that barrier repair with the dna… what are your thoughts? Please and thank you
I would really appreciate some hydrators recommendations available in Europe. Skinbetter, Zo, Alastin are great brands but hard to get in Europe, if at all and respectively price is even higher than in US 😕
I'm using the post procedure Alastin kit: cleanser, serum, moisturizer, and sun screen. It is very pricey but OMG my skin feels so fantastic. I can't afford to continue using ALL of this line every day, so which of them is most important if I can only choose one or two?
ultra nourishing from alastin literally made my face dried out--insane ! however, i LOVED the restorative skin complex--HG status. next i have to try trio ! i'm sold !
It's so interesting how we all react differently to different substances. I guess that's why there are so many brands and formulations out there. One brand does not fit all
Luv your videos! Have you tried the medical grade line Neogenesis? Its the ONLY line (and i tried them all) that has truly repaired and improved my dry ultra sensitive type 1 rosacea. Specically their recovery serum and barrier repair cream .
I just went through menopause 57 years of age my skin developed never in my life before eczema. What do you recommend for treatment for the body and also wondering if you think I should stay away from vitamin C and retinol, my neck is so sensitive and body never had a problem with anything before
Great video informative BUT I couldn’t pay close attention since I was trying to get a good look at your beautiful rings! Would love to know what you are wearing on your fingers….looks like yellow gold and aquamarines…? Opals? look gorgeous!
@@theocbeautymd Yes. I used it for the past year. I was getting breakouts, so switched to Tretinoin 0.5 and it’s made a huge improvement. I still use most of the line - all AM products.
Hi doctor, which of the hydrator doesn’t leave a sticky/tacky finish compare to trio? Trio has a light texture but leaves me a sticky finish. I have combo sensitive skin also dehydrated. Which eye cream do you also recommend for dark circles and fine lines due to dryness? Thank you !
Have you tried triple lipid in comparison to trio? Just purchased the complex from Alastin and alto and trio based on your recommendations. Love the nectar and ultra nourishing moisturizer even after just using tretinoin as it heals the skin
Awesome video ❤question how do you choose a good hyaluronic acid? There’s so many and it’s in everything so how do we know which ones are good. Thanks again love everything you do
It really comes down to formulation. You want to know what size the HA is and what the vehicle for delivery is to get it into the skin. If you're shopping professional brands, someone should be able to answer that question. I'm a fan of LINES from skinbetter and the HA immerse from Alastin.
I have very dry skin and live in the Sonoran Desert. Currently, switching away from Biossance's Squalane and Omega Repair Cream and have tried both Skinbetter Science's Trio and Alastin's Ultra Nourishing Moisturizer. On their own, I haven't found either to really work for my skin. I used them in concert one time and was very happy with the results. Am I doing something wrong or might my skin just need that level of extra hydration/moisturization?
Great video. How do you feel about peptides vs growth factors and why? Does one work better than the other, are peptides safer? Also, have you tried the new Alastin Vit.C/Antioxidant serum and what are your thoughts on this? Too many brands to choose from!
I'll make another video about growth factors and peptides soon with a focus on stem cells but in the mean time I hope this one answers your questions: ruclips.net/video/loUJDpu1br4/видео.html I have not yet received the blasting via C. waiting impatiently!
Both are great and different. daily defense is a combo of antioxidants, skin barrier repair and hydration. HA focuses on HA and stimulation of HA synthesis by the skin. You can use both, or choose one and alternate.
Hi Dr. Marie, which of the two company’s would you say has the better eye product to correct lines. I’ve been using Skin Better, the one with retinol in it, but I’ve heard the Alastin product is goo too. They are both expensive, but which one performs better? Thanku for your videos❤

Listen to your skin! .....(and your wallet 😂)
I feel the same way about Skin Better. Nothing great. For that much money I need something back.
Alastin is so underrated!
I think you're right!
So happy I watched Claudia Glows and found you. Love you channel! Thank you. ♥️
Hi. Thank you! I love her. She is wonderful! Welcome to my channel. Hope you enjoy!
Me too. Came from Claudia Glows.
Dr Ania please do an updated skincare routine as we go into spring!!!! LOVE your videos😍🥰
Yes - HA products dehydrate my skin! So glad I found your channel.

I paid for a session I watched online but I never regret paying for it because I got all I wanted from it about facial treatments

I love your educational videos!!
Great information. So happy I found your channel. I got lots of junk in my bathroom and it's time to improve to a hydrator. Thank you!
So glad this helped!!!
Glad to see you back.

absolutely! daily power defense is like a watered down version of Alto advanced and Trio combined. So yes you can switch
FABULOUS! Thank you SO much ❤
Alto Defense is my HG too! 💕🧘♀️
❤️
How do you feel about ISclinical hydracool serum & their emulsion moisturizer? Do you like the line?

Thanks for the informative video. I have been using skin better trio and alto serum for few years now.
aren't they the BEST!

I know a little bit about it. It's an oncology focused line but I've never tried it.
Thank yo\u for another super informative video Dr Ania
You are so welcome!
Claudia you brought me here.. Thank you. Two women who are doing the best!
I must have missed where you recommended a hydrator for more oily skin types. Can you please let me know what it is? Thank you.
Glad to see you back! Another informative video! Also love my trio and alto ❤❤

Thank you so much. ❤️ The blue is blue topaz and yellow is citrine
The best hydrating serum on the market is Alastin HA Immerse serum and it was not even mentioned :(
She isn't a big fan fan of HA serums
Very informative- I am using SkinBetter for the most part - but Tretinoin (often topped with Trio) at night.

For dark circles and fine lines I love Skinbetter EyeMax.
ZO daily power defense may be a good alternative
Have you tried triple lipid in comparison to trio? Just purchased the complex from Alastin and alto and trio based on your recommendations. Love the nectar and ultra nourishing moisturizer even after just using tretinoin as it heals the skin

As odd as this sounds, the Alastin Ultra light moisturizer is richer than the nourishing
@@theocbeautymd Thank you for responding. Will definitely give it a look.
Loving everything Alastin! Do you think the nectar is worth purchasing for pre and post procedure?
100% It really helps with recovery and comfort. I use it on all of my patients and recommend they purchase a bottle as well.
Thank you!

@@theocbeautymd Thank you. Can you recommend an eye serum please.
Thanks for the info. So would a hydrator go over or under tretinoin at night?
It really depends on how strong you want it to be. For example the "sandwich method" to reduce irritation has you apply hydrator, tret, hydrator.

I would have to say the Skinbetter is my #1 unless the concern is dryness, in that case ZO growth factor eye.
Looks like Skin better doesn’t ship to Australia 😢😢😢
Sorry princes , How old are you ?
