  • One week spent onboard the MV Mastro Aldo liveaboard, diving some truly spectacular dive sites around the Komodo National Park, Indonesia. Great vizability, colourful healthy reefs and lovely warm 30 degrees water temperatures. Oh and lots of close encounters with Manta Rays.

Hello, may I know the month when you go diving in the Komodo National Park? Then which dive sites do you dive in during the Komodo National Park? what is the situation of the underwater currents? and which dive sites are there many groups of fish. Thank you

Oh...sorry I just see also schedule after October.. :) I guess you fly from Europe to there as well right? how did you combine the trip to Komodo? We have just 2 weeks holidays , and I only can think of ... fly to Bali and then connect flight to Labuan Bajo. We have never visit Bali before..and one week liveaboard , one week Bali perhaps ...its ok for our first time visiting Indonesia? any suggestion? another thing ...do you have pay also for national park fee like Raja Ampat ? ... thanks a lot.

Hi Oneworld. A good choice would be to do a 1 week liveaboard in komodo, plus spend all the other time on Bali. You are correct, you can easily fly from Bali to Labuan Bajo. Komodo is VERY high on my list of great places to dive. There are LOTS of mantas there too. Bali is easy to get to, as it is a very popular tourist destination. If you end up going to Komodo, then you will not regret it. :-)
