    I have also a question: Why was Jerusalem called „spiritually Sodom“ in the Bible? And doesn’t Satan want to reign from Jerusalem in the Great Tribulation? Is there biblical evidence for Satan attempting to reign from Jerusalem?

    • @kristenspencer9751
      @kristenspencer9751 2 года назад

      I might have some insight. I've heard Andy say in one of his other teachings that the term "spiritually Sodom" simply means that Jerusalem will be Like Sodom (and Egypt) in the degree of evil and godlessness that will take place within her. Rev 11 says gentiles will trod the holy city under foot. God sends 2 witnesses to preach and they are killed! And everyone rejoices and celebrates by sending gifts to one another---that's how bad it will be. The Bible does say that the Anti-Christ makes a peace treaty with Jerusalem and breaks it 1/2 way thru the great Tribulation. At that time, yes, the Bible DOES say the anti Christ goes into the temple and defiles it and declares himself to be God. That's when some believe him, and those who do not flee the city and run into the wilderness where God protects them during the rest of the Tribulation.

    If it looks like Babylon and acts like Babylon. If it has the power assigned to Babylon, both spiritually and temporally. If it talks like Babylon. It’s Babylon.

    Well there's no rebuilt Babylon now..so maybe the rapture isn't as near as we think it is

      @kristenspencer9751 2 года назад

      Hmmm...It doesn't take much anymore to make things happen. I love Andy's teaching. This is one point where I think I disagree. My opinion is that it's Babylon spiritually. The world view and mindset and economy and its gods...all that made Babylon...well...Babylon. If that's so, then we ARE close. The teaching was 2013 and I'm commenting Jan 1 2022, so maybe he views it different now. It's nothing big worth arguing over. I rejoice that all the teachers and preachers are awake and watching and speculating and trying to discern in light of scripture---that's the MAIN thing!

    It would seem to that the Bible is meant to be read be any and all. For that reason it would seem that a literal interpretation is necessary to accommodate the entire audience that the owners manual for humanity is directed toward. The fact that Jesus berated those who took the oral Torah as more authoritative than the Pentetuch, which is quite literal and is literally along with the succeeding books of Joshua, Ruth, Kings, Chronicles et. al. are history as well. It would seem that the "scholarly" interpretation flies in the face of the literal reading gives cause for regarding their interpretations with a jaundiced eye, so long as it disagrees with the literal reading of the text.

      Yes, The Bible IS meant to be read by all. But it's author is God! Have you ever watched a movie and didn't understand why the character did or said xyz and asked your friend sitting next to you watching the same movie? Your friend was able to explain to you something you missed. The Bible has many layers and God is happy to reveal them to those who do the hard work of "gold mining". There's always certain things lost in the translations of the Greek & Hebrew. It doesn't make them 'wrong', there's just a whole lot more to it. I could tell you in plain English that: "I found my Grand father's watch". You can interpret it as something was lost or misplaced...perhaps something of sentimental or monetary value. And it was found...that's wonderful. It may seem to you that it was simply "found". But if I spoke a different language, you could word search what was translated "found" and see that it has more to do with searching for it in earnest, hard work, mental and physical labor...to employ a whole team of searchers. Costly undertaking. || Now that doesn't change that something was found, but gives a whole lot more meaning to it! Even the word translated "grandfather" could be rich with meaning beyond just "my dad's Dad". This is what Andy means when he talks about East and West. It doesn't change the idea that we're talking about direction. He's not saying that "east" is a secret code word for "bicycle". It's just that when the Bible says "east" it's speaking about East of Jerusalem. or West of Jerusalem b/c Jerusalem is God's holy city. It's the focal point. Hope that clears things up. I had to learn, too just as you are learning. Encouragement to keep studying, and asking questions.

    In Zech. 5, the word translated woman, is better translated as fire. It refers to a nuclear missile...that's the flying cylinder 20 cubits, 30 foot long. Iranian nuclear missile destroying Mecca which is Babylon, mother of harlots, Islam.

      Babylon “land of the Chaldeans” which is literal Babylon is prophesied to fall on “the day of the lord”. Did you know that the Bible says when Babylon falls the stones won’t be reused? In 2016 the stones from literal Babylon were used. Means Babylon must rise and fall. I suggest watching his other videos but if you don’t then that’s fine but I suggest reading this site which proves Babylon is exactly what God says it is which is Babylon

    Where was the gospel being taught? This speakers intent was obvious, not to glorify Christ by way of this discourse through his teachings but to derail focus about Christ, who is the head of his church. All called teachers should only focus on the true gospel as taught by the apostles, which Paul was in the forefront. Anything else becomes mens thoughts and not God's thoughts. What really is the intent of this speaker? 🤔

    There is only one city on 7 hills - the VATICAN. So it cannot be your litteral Babylon. It is Rome revived. It is not what commentators think. Why don't you take 7 hills litterally as well?

      we shall see, bro...chill. I too, kind of think Rome. But the two are not all that dissimilar. The concept he's developing is the same. Also, the teaching was 2013 and I'm commenting Jan 1 2022, so maybe he views it different now. It's nothing big worth arguing over. Good job! Very thought provoking!
    The two women flying with the lead basket over Shinar (warplanes?) made me think of an atomic power station leaking from a nuclear explosion. Thus the need for lead plug? Babylon to me represents the source of all world finance, Nebuchadnezzar as the head of fine gold in the vision of the great idol.
